Louie then steps forward to defend himself. "As always, what I give you is what money cannot buy," Louie states to the crew. "My loyalty, my word, my bond, and that's more important than gold and treasure." When Kendra defends herself, she starts by saying, "For me to come back to you guys five times, there's gotta be reasons why you keep me and that's what I want to talk about tonight," before focusing on her talent for deciphering clues on the Expeditions.

When Cameron asks the crew where Kendra stands, Jay brings up the fact that he doesn't like her sneakiness, Ben brings up issues of trust and loyalty with Kendra, and Laurel points out that Kendra is someone she feels comfortable competing against at the end. Cameron then asks what the crew thinks of Louie volunteering and Jay points out that Louie may not be completely safe tonight.

Louie tries to downplay his status as a "threat" when he tells everyone that he's slow going uphill on Expeditions. Cameron asks Louie how he feels now, to which Louie replies, "Somebody's gotta stand up here next to Kendra and I've got y'all's back and I thought you had mine. But uh, we'll see when it goes down and you put your card on that blade."

One by one, the Pirates put their cards on the blade, securing their vote for who should be cut adrift. Cameron turns to Kendra and Louie and reveals that no ballots were cast in Louie's direction. The vote is unanimous: Kendra's voyage is over. Before she is cut adrift, she turns to her crew and with a sincere smile, says her final words: "Have fun, guys."
