Episode 13: Dirty Deeds…Not Done Dirt Cheap
Nice Pirates Finish Last: Lovable Louie Cut Adrift
The final four Pirates embark on another Expedition, which pits Ben and Louie against Christa and Jay. However, Louie is unaware that Ben is sabotaging the Red Crew along the way in order to keep Christa in power. Later, Christa struggles with marking two Pirates with the Black Spot because Jay and Louie each hope to be the one Pirate with sole voting power. Ultimately she decides to honor her pact with Jay and places him as the lone ballot man. At Pirates' Court, Louie gives a heartfelt defense and is hurt when Ben confesses to everyone that he sabotaged the Expedition to save his own position on the ship. With a heavy heart, Jay casts his ballot and everyone's favorite Pirate, Louie, comes to the end of his voyage.
"It really hurt me when I found out Ben sandbagged me and dogged me on that Expedition," Louie says as he floats out to sea. "He's gonna have to look in the mirror for the rest of his life and say that, 'I dogged Lou Dog.' I've got no problem looking in the mirror and sleeping at night and I like it that way. I gave everything I had, I tried my best and you know, it just wasn't good enough."
The Final Four
Below deck, Jay, Louie, Christa and Ben celebrate their status as the final four in the competition. Ben hugs Jay, grateful that his friend was able to save him from being cut adrift. "I think that Ben, Christa and I are actually closer because of the argument," Jay explains, referring to their previous clash where everyone's scheming was revealed. "They say the truth will set you free. I think they're right." Christa then laughs about her company in the final four. "Right now, I have these three boys by the balls," she explains. "Ben owes me big time for saving him, Jay owes me for not giving the Black Spot and Louie would never give me a Black Spot, never mutiny me. It's my game to lose right now."
