It Ain't Over Til Captain Steel Says It's Over

The final three Pirates wake up to a cloudy morning, but their minds remain unclouded as each is securely focused on the treasure. They meet with Cameron, who opens the final compartment of the Chest of Zanzibar and discovers that this Expedition will not be the final one. Cameron explains that only two will compete for Captain Steel's treasure, worth half a million dollars and that today's treasure was hidden by Steel's first mate. Cameron also informs everybody that they will compete as individuals instead of crews and whoever finds the treasure today will earn the right to search for Steel's fortune while the other two will be at risk of being cut adrift.

Can You Read Latin?

As the Expedition begins, the Pirates jump over the side of the ship and swim to shore to look for a narrow bridge suspended over a gorge where they will each find a hanging sword and their next clue. Ben arrives at the unstable bridge first, followed by the others. They each pull up the hanging swords and receive their next clue, which tells them to head to a pool.

Ben arrives at the ravine first and swims to the pool, discovering a boulder with Latin writing on it. As he uses a translation chart he created earlier, Jay and Christa catch up and all three of them separately translate the Latin clue. Ben discovers that the clue says they must retrace their steps and continue further into the jungle where they will have to find the next clue hidden underwater.

Sabotage and Victory

Ben and Jay arrive back at the rope bridge and once they both cross, Ben takes the opportunity to sabotage Christa by chopping at the bridge's ropes, letting it fall into the gorge. Christa arrives at the gorge shortly after, sees that the bridge has been destroyed and realizes she must find a different path.
