Pirates' Court - Ghost Pirates Don't Forget the Past

At Pirates' Court, the Ghost Pirates return to the ship and listen as Christa defends herself, saying, "I came here to play for my daughter. I wanna go for Captain Steel's treasure because of my daughter. I need the money." Jay defends himself, knowing that he's responsible for each of the Ghost Pirates being cut adrift. "I was the mean dirty Pirate and I think that that actually is what a Pirate was," Jay says. "Typically, they were cutthroat and I played a cutthroat game, so that's why I think that I'm more deserving at this point." He concludes by saying, "I am a nice guy. I just do bad things."

Cameron opens it up to the jury and Nessa immediately attacks Jay for his cruelty and manipulation. Cheryl is equally upset when she admits she doesn't respect either Pirate and attacks them both for backstabbing. Kendra then attacks Christa when she says, "You drag your daughter out every five minutes…Set an example for her, get a job. Show her what it's like to stand on her two feet and make her way in this world instead of taking the easy way out."

Joe Don and Azmyth each attack Jay for his dishonest game playing and attack Christa for falling under his control. John brings up Jay's knack for deception before showing his support for Christa. "It takes something more than Machiavellian tactics of cutting people adrift to keep a Pirate crew together," he says. "While she may not have pulled amazing tricks, I believe in Christa."

Jay admits to playing an aggressive game before adding, "To be Pirate Master, I don't think you can skate through this game without getting any blood on your hands." Christa then reiterates her devotion to her daughter when she says, "She is my life and she is the reason why I'm here."
