The Ballots Are Cast and the Adventure Continues

One by one, the Ghost Pirates cast their ballots and Cameron reveals that Christa received one ballot while Jay received twelve. Jay's voyage has ended, but instead of being cut adrift, he will join the Ghosts and continue the adventure while Christa will oppose Ben in the hunt for Steel's treasure.

As the Ghost Pirates reunite on the ship, it becomes clear that most of them are rooting for Christa to win the competition. "I think Christa deserves to be Pirate Master more," Nessa says. "I always thought that there was more to Christa than meets the eye and I think she proved that with the way she played the game."

Ben Makes Amends

While many of the Ghost Pirates lounge around the ship and refuse to work for no pay, Louie is genuinely glad to be back. Ben then approaches Louie with an offer. "Throwing the Expedition, it's not a high point of my voyage," Ben tells him. "I know it doesn't fix it, but I'd feel better about sending you home with some more money in your pocket." Ben offers Louie the $12,000 he earned for sabotaging the Expedition and Louie accepts it and reassures him that there are no hard feelings. With his conscience clear, Ben focuses on getting ready to hunt for Steel's treasure.

Pirates' Court - The Ghosts Reveal Their Allegiances

Everyone gathers on deck for the last Pirates' Court where Ben and Christa must recruit three Ghosts each to join their crew on the final Expedition. One by one, the Ghost Pirates promote themselves and say why they should join each crew. Many Ghost Pirates, like Louie, Cheryl, Sean, Jupiter and Azmyth point out their various strengths and pledge allegiance to either Ben or Christa's crew. However, some Ghosts, like John, Nessa, Jay, Kendra and Joe Don seem to favor Christa over Ben.
