Stacy Johnson & Joseph DelPriore Ground Zero Crew Candace & Brandon

Ground Zero Crew vs. Stacy & Joseph Stacy Johnson and Joseph Del Priore, ages 21 and 22 respectively, from Provo, Utah won tonight's Young Dancer preliminary round. First, B-Boys Ground Zero Crew--consisting of Alex "Bebe" Fernandez, Calin "Eckszooberante" Fernandez, Daniel "Boo Rok" Fernandez, and Jacob "Tells" Negron--performed a body-bending, gravity-defying routine. Stacy and Joseph were up next, performing a routine that showed off their classical training and power as a duo. Matti said he was "blown away" by their performance, and Naomi complimented them on their "beauty" and "precision." With 14 stars, Stacy and Joseph moved on to face the Winners' Circle.

Stacy and Joseph challenged Candace and Brandon to a dance duo duel, forcing the Judges to choose which pair should be in the Winners' Circle. Awarding Candace and Brandon 12 stars, the Judges chose Stacy and Joseph to move into the Winners' Circle, and they return to STAR SEARCH on Saturday, March 6 at 8pm ET/PT.

Winners' Circle

The Young Dancers chose Jon Cruz to lead their group performance for the men and women of the US Navy. With a very limited amount of time to rehearse, the Dancers had a lot of work to do, and Jon seemed pretty relaxed in his role as the leader. After a lot of goofing around and not much rehearsal, Candace admitted she was "kind of nervous about how it was going to turn out."

But when it came time to perform at the Naval base in San Diego, the Winners' Circle members proved once again that they're true professionals. Candace said, "I think we did a good job," and her dancing partner Brandon added that "dancing for the men and women of the Navy was a really cool thing."

With another performance under their belts, the dancers felt well prepared for anyone who might challenge them. Candace warned any future challengers: " call me out as many times as you want; I'm ready to dance."
