1. To Enter: The sweepstakes begins Noon ET on 3/10/05 and ends 1:00 PM ET on 5/23/05 ("promotion period"). To enter this sweepstakes visit the CBS Web site at http://www.cbs.com anytime during the promotion period, navigate to The Home Depot Survivor: Palau Sweepstakes site, and complete The Home Depot Survivor: Palau Sweepstakes online entry form. Once you have completed the information requested, click on "submit" to enter. Entrants must accurately complete entire online entry form and successfully submit same in order to be entered into drawing. The use of automated or third party entry software is prohibited. Limit one entry per eligible person/e-mail address. Entries submitted subsequent to an entrant's first entry are void. By entering, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless CBS Broadcasting Inc., The Home Depot their respective parent companies and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies, including Marden-Kane, and all of their respective employees, directors, officers, shareholders & agents (collectively, "Releasees") from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind, including death or loss of property, arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or acceptance or use or misuse of any prize awarded (including, without limitation, any travel or activity related thereto). Releasees assume no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error or technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures unauthorized access of any computer or telephone equipment or software, or any combination thereof. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
   
   
2. Prize Drawing and Notification: A random drawing will be conducted on or about 5/25/05 under the supervision of Marden-Kane Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Within 5 days of prize drawing the potential Grand Prize winner will be mailed an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and where legal a Publicity Release. Potential Grand Prize winner is required to execute and return the aforementioned documents within 10 days following the date of issuance. Non-compliance with this time period or return of any e-mail, mail or prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If the Grand Prize winner is not of age of majority in his or her state of residence the prize will be awarded in name of his or her parent or legal guardian. Guest of Grand Prize winner (or if minor, his/her parent/legal guardian) must sign and return publicity release (unless prohibited) and a liability release prior to issuance of travel documents. If guest of Grand Prize winner is under 18 years of age, he or she must be accompanied by his or her parent or legal guardian. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
   
   
3. Prize: One (1) Grand Prize. A 3-Day/2-night trip to a destination city in the continental United States to attend the finale broadcast of the fall 2005 Survivor series tentatively scheduled to take place in December 2005; plus a $5,000 Home Depot Gift Card. Travel portion of prize consists of round-trip coach air transportation for winner and one guest to destination city from a major U.S. airport closest to the winner's home, double occupancy standard hotel accommodations for 2-nights and admission for two to the Survivor finale. Winner will be notified a maximum of 30 days in advance of travel dates and telecast city. If the Survivor finale tentatively scheduled for sometime in the month of December 2005 is canceled, rescheduled or the winner cannot take the trip to be in the telecast city on the specified date, the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the winner other than to supply the $5,000 Home Depot Gift Card and the trip as described, minus attendance at the broadcast within one year from date of prize notification. Winner and guest must travel together on same itinerary, provide travel documents suitable for travel and sign a release of liability and publicity (unless prohibited by law) prior to issuance of travel documents. Travel must be made through Sponsor's agent on a carrier of Sponsor's choice. If Winner lives within 100 miles of finale broadcast city, he or she will receive in lieu of air travel, round-trip local transportation between winner's residence and broadcast city, to be disclosed. Estimated retail value of travel portion of grand prize is $2,500. Actual value of travel prize may vary based on winner's point of departure and dates of travel. Certain travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Travel subject to availability and confirmation of reservations. The Home Depot $5,000 Gift Card is subject to the terms and conditions of use which will be provided to winner. All expenses relating to acceptance of the grand prize not explicitly listed herein as being awarded are responsibility of winner, including but not limited to any transportation to or from a qualifying departure airport, meals, gratuities and all taxes. Prize is non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents will be allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who reserves the right to award prize of comparable or greater value. Total retail value of grand prize is $7,500. All details of prize not specified herein shall be determined solely by Sponsor.
   
   
4. Internet: If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserve the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Should this promotion be terminated the Sponsor reserve the right to select winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the action requiring such termination. Releasees are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
   
   
5. Eligibility: Open to legal United States residents who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry, except employees or agents of the Sponsor, The Home Depot and their parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, dealers, retailers, advertising agencies, & members of their immediate families. Void in Puerto Rico and wherever prohibited. Subject to all applicable federal, state & local laws & regulations. U.S. law governs this sweepstakes.
   
   
6. Winners List: To obtain the winner's name mail a SASE to: Marden-Kane, 36 Maple Place, Manhasset, NY 11030 Attn: CBS/The Home Depot. Requests received after 6/30/05 will not be honored.
