Just a lil' sarcastic note (and an ode to Judd) to my friends over here in Survivor Blog-Land:
I seem to faintly remember mentioning something to the effect of, "Has Judd gone mental"? in one of my previous posts. Since no one here answered, the Survivor Gods have answered my question for you. Maybe you all have A.D.D.... In fact, I'm sure of it! Did you hear me? I said A.D.D.! I'm telling you FIRST THING you all have A.D.D.!! I know I am a bad Sportsmanship but I will continue to rant about something that does not matter and has no bearing in the game of Survivor. I just can't seem to FOCUS on anything else but your A.D.D!!!!

Way to go Judd, I think you actually scared Probst!

Goodbye Mini-Carrots. :( Face it, you are a "kamikaze that was going to bust a wedge..."

***Favorite quote of this episode:
Bobby Jon: Completely indiscernible southern slurred gibberish ending in a random blurt of the word "corncake".

Much love to you all and think happy thoughts for my friend Jenn!

Well let me first give Coby big props for what he wrote about Jenn. I’ve gotten to hang out with her a couple of times and she’s an awesome person and incredibly brave. She’s going to be in all of our thoughts until she’s completely recovered.

Jenna M, let me remind you that they haven’t done double tribal council two seasons in a row - they’ve actually done it THREE seasons in a row (Remember when John K had to pick somebody to give individual immunity to in the girls tribe). It’s what happens when you start the season with 18 Survivors instead of only 16. When I saw on the commercial there would be two tribal councils I had only hoped that Steph would have to go to both! (Don’t worry Steph, I’ll still give you my hot dog for a beer).

I loved it when Jeff Probst said “Judd, you look like you’d rip Margaret’s head off if I let you”. You know what Jeff? If Judd decides he’s gonna rip Margaret’s head, I don’t think you’re going to have a vote. Not unless your torch snuffer doubles for a stun gun.

Margaret, never tell a guy who looks like Toni Soprano that he has A.D.D. Just because you’re a nurse, it doesn’t mean you’re Dr. Melfi.

Brian, I appreciated all your plotting and scheming, I had such high hopes for you. Too bad you couldn’t have just thrown Amy and her bum leg under the bus.

Sorry I haven’t been posting more guys… I’ve just been so busy reading to the blind and working on promoting the movie I wrote and produced called “The Scorned” which premieres on Halloween Night at 9pm on E! and is available for presale at TheFishbowl.com

It is about damn time you blogged Jenna!! Now roll over and tell that curly haired fella laying next to you to do the same! tsk tsk <----lazy All Stars :)

I was about to announce Scout and I as final 2 but now with Jenna we need a challenge...one without donuts kids.

So time for my real blog...the dishy one...

Amy- Way to go girlfriend! For making half the men from Palau look like pansies. Not only have you been working it on a sprained ankle but you also hopped your way back over to beat out Steph (toughest female Survivor ever) in your boulder challenge. You are one tough moutha!

Bobby Jon- You are a great friend and I don't want to piss you off like I have Steph but can you just talk normal? Whats with all the.." I just did what I had to do.." "He is a good ol boy, he would be a great neighbor..." "Like two bulls going at each other..." I know you are from Alabama but I also know you can have a conversation without 'dressin' it up so much. I think it is you strategy right now but you are laying it on a bit thick for me with your 'Aw shucks Jeff,' routine.

Brandon- I think you are one of the most natural people out there. And I am sorry if this makes you nervous but I am finding you very attractive at this point lol

Cindy- My baby girl...why couldn't you push that boulder? That is okay you kept your calm otherwise (I would have flipped if someone drank my beer) and you knew exactly what NOT to say at tribal council. I haven't heard someone say so little when Jeff asked them such direct questions since Tom whats-his-name. The only person more under the radar on your team right now is Lydia.

Lydia- Where have you been? Did you even say anything this whole episode? I guess your Pancake Dance has to fill 2 episodes of airtime for you. Good thing you are Steph's pawn so I know you will be around awhile. You make me smile :)

Danni- I do appreciate your heartfelt hug to my Brian as you kicked his ass out the door but you still seem very sneaky to me. I have a feeling you are calling the shots on your team (Bobby Jon is always asking you what is going on or wrong etc...). Way to kick butt in challenges again...and I have a feeling I will be staring at your butt cheeks for a while still.

Gary- I get no feeling for you at all lol sorry. That would sound offensive but I am sure when you watched me on Palau you were cheering for Tom not me anyway. Two different folks for two different kinds of strokes. I am dying to see Amy chew you up and spit you out for lying though.

Jamie- I was loving you in the beginning but now you are part of the evil 5 alliance (You, Steph, Judd, Rafe, Lydia). I have seen the alliance of 5 take down tribes before but you are on the same boat as Judd but you just don't know it. Steph isn't gonna let you get to the end with her, are you crazy? I predict your 4th to Judd's 5th. You should have grabbed Margaret and the others to turn on Steph (the leader) but it looks to me like now you have just taken a number in line to get picked off.

Judd- Where do I start with you? Unlike my non feelings for Gary I have plenty for you...bad ones. Like Jenna said we all love to hate a villain. But I really can't tell if you really are this crazy or laying it on for the cameras? Your most ironic annoyance was screaming you don't have ADD (which is not that offensive to tell someone that, you act like Marg called you a leper) and demanding answers from your tribe about how much you listen as you bulldozed over them as they tried to answer. Way to listen Judd.

Rafe- Very smart and boring of you to give Gary Immunity because you knew he didn't need it. But you still looked loyal to your old tribe without mixing things up, you smart cookie. I like players who play dangerous, sometimes they get to the end like Sandra and sometimes they go sooner like Brian. But safe players get to the end most times...so enjoy it. You are a very good player just a boring one to watch on TV.

Steph- I do feel for you most times I watch the show. Tonight when you were talking about the mosquitoes biting you through your shirt I could tell you were really aware of the cameras, you were feeling the pressure of what to say. I felt for you but then fast forward 45 minutes and you are taking Judd's side for his game moves of sucking up to you at tribal council and calling Margaret's actions 'retarded'. Steph remember my blog about calling things 'gay' last week? Well the same thing applies for 'retarded' but that is just me. You could go ask Judd if those things are okay to say, I am sure he would agree with you.

Double trouble!

Let me be the first to say I am a survivor purist I like things clean and simple, and I really dont like when a twist is repeated a season after it was done (double tribal). Three twists I hate the most:
1.) Outcast tribe (when you get voted out that is it, no second chances unless its an All Star)
2.) Voting people off 5 minutes into the game (sorry Wanda and Jon)
3.) Double tribal council

When you have a double tribal council like this last episode it takes some of the fire out of the game. When you know your tribe is going to tribal either way you lose alittle bit of drive. If you are sitting pretty in a position on your tribe then you dont feel the intense pressure to win. I think individual immunity should be saved for the last half of the game when the tribes merge, not this early.

Well we had our first offical "crack up" at tribal council thanks to Judd. As much as I think this guy is playing the game totally wrong by telling everyone too much, and yelling at the other tribe members ultimately burning his bridges with the minority if he ever needs them, he is somewhat entertaining. Lets face it we all love the villians as much as the good guys. That said he will never win but might get far because everyone knows he is hated and could never win a jury over.

At camp other than Judd there wasnt alot of real drama, but in place of it we got the alot of booty shots from that one challenge, I thought I flipped to the Spice channel for a second (yes I subscribe.)

Good episode. Next week I think they are trying to make it look like a merge but I say no way. Its too early, and they just shuffled tribes not to long ago.

I know you guys love it when I give up some fun dish about the show and I will later in the week...I still have plenty to say about everyone...no worries :)

Another serious blog for now but is from the heart...

I just got back today from being with Jenn Lyon at home with her family in Portland and we shaved our heads together! She did mine and I did hers...how is that for tit for tat? For those of you who don't know Jenn is starting the fight against breast cancer. If you want to know the ins and outs of what exactly is happening with her right now go pick up the latest copy of People and US Weekly...I won't go into the detials here. But know Jenn is loved, strong and I feel beyond lucky to know her much less to have been there to share this experience. Our shavings will be on Inside Edition in the coming week probably on Tuesday. They also filmed her first go round with chemo so people can understand what they might go through if this happens to them. Jenn is also hoping that sharing her story might get others to check themselves. I hope it does.

When I got home today I found out that my baby was checked into the hospital while I was gone for a staph infection. She is still there. She is as strong as Jenn is and I know she too will pull through this. Don't feel sorry for me, I have a wonderful family who supports me, my best friend Amanda is at the hospital right now with her so I can talk to you guys and to go get a good nights sleep.

And believe it or not both of these stories relate to last nights episode for me as I watched my favorite player of the season go...my Brian. I also watched my Margaret fall as the numbers where stacked against her. Margaret I know how it feels.

I know that Brian and Margaret know that they have just had the experience of a lifetime but what they don't know yet is the power of the game that will stay with them for a lifetime. Because whether you placed 1st or last...5th...or 9th...you will always be a Survivor.

As a looked at my friend Jenn cry as she got her last dose of the chemo...and as I held my daughter tonight in the hospital...it is always in the back of my mind.

I talked to Jenn's mom who said she didn't know what she would do if this would have happened a year ago before Survivor because she knows the strength that this 'game' had given her daughter.

So my salute to you two is simple...Brian and Margaret...

Welcome to the club and feel the power that is Survivor.

In my humble opinion Jackass Judd and Mouth Margaret put a real damper on the show. Maybe it makes for great television, but Jeff definitely didn’t like the scene abit. Neither did I. Grow up Judd! You jumped on Margaret’s case for pampering the other boys right up front. Maybe you need to deal with your own jealousy issues! However, I didn’t like Margaret’s “pity pot” either. It was obvious that she was going home. Whatever her attitude was, it got sweet, sweet Rafe to mention it, and I really believe he’s the kinda’ guy who couldn’t say “sh-t” if his mouth was full of it! He’s not the kind of person that low talks anyone. Thus, Margaret, remember that when you “drag your drama around camp”, you bound to be draggin’ it right out the door.
With that said, I gotta’ give it to Margaret for the strength of her game up front. There is a special talent needed to stay in rapport with young people out there on the island. Perhaps unconsciously, some of them just don’t get older people and it shows.
I’m thrilled to finally watch an episode that Steph didn’t “poor mouth” her team and her circumstance. Of course, that has everything to do with “winning”....and I do believe that she is finally getting to feel like a part of a team. The good news for her, if she is doing the math,....is that her original Xaxha tribe has the numbers all over the old Nakum.
I think this is gonna’ bite Judd in the butt after the merge.
Bobby Jon, you are such a “boy”! Remember your first fit out in Palau? Well, you still haven’t grown past it. Jamie was celebrating his success for Pete’s Sake! You had no right to pitch a fit and fall in it! The sad thing is, “it was your natural response to losing”. Tsk, Tsk! This trait of yours overshadows your sweetness. Get a grip!
Gary has a pretty tight rein over Yaxha for now. He has a smooth way of moving. He’s got Danni with him now. Last week he got Danni and Bobby Jon to vote with him. This week was “pay back”. I was sorrow to see Brian go because he has been so entertaining. However, if I were to name this episode, I’d call it PRIDE COMES BEFORE THE FALL! Brian’s opening comments for the game showed off his “show off”! He does “think well of himself” and that probably came off in camp quite often. That type of thing will get a football pro and a cop down of ya! Hopefully it was not his alleged sexuality that got him the boot. Shame on your Blake, for hammering him for your narrow beliefs! Even though you think you’re the “Big Sh-t”, Mr. Ivy League,..I’ll miss ya!
I’m still wild about Lydia. Did ya’ll see the precious smile on her face coming to the challenges. Just love her persistent good attitude. Hope she is able to stick around to the merge! Love you too, Cindy. I grew up in the Everglades of Florida and have been in a canoe with a solid mask of mosquitoes on my face...even with repellent. If those mosquitoes are even worse in Guatemala I feel really sorry for everyone. When they get that bad ya’ just have to relax and let ‘em bite ya’. Hope you can hang, Cindy. You’re a tuff player. I loved your comments about Judd runnin’ his mouth, but I don’t know if you can get much sympathy from his “he and harem”. It’s funny how he so shunned Margaret for her nurturing, and yet the big ole’ galute is quite the nurturer himself. He’s got the rest of Nakum tucked pretty tight under his wings.
You too, Amy! Unlike so many men who get hurt and then suck up all the sympathy they can get, you just keep coming. Loved it when you and Danni kicked some butt on the Giant Ball roll...even with the injury. You got something going for you to get a pro football player to never mention your name at Tribal! And Danni, what a player you are! Durn, Girl...You have wormed your way into my heart! You need some food though. You’re lookin’ way too thin.
Jamie, a quick word to you. I loved your celebration and I also loved your comeback to Bobby Jon. And, I really loved seeing your next celebration of victory! You pointed straight up to the heaven’s and gave The Big Celebration! I’ve liked you from the beginning, and still do. Brandon, I hate to admit it, but I think you might be losing ground.
If you’re gonna’ last ya’ better start making really good friends with Danni. She looks to be the real “swing vote” on Yaxha for now.
Judd, I did love your excitement about having both brains and brawn! You were so excited that you knew the answer that you couldn’t shut up. Of course, you can’t shut up anyway. Rafe, I loved that you got the first individual immunity. I had to wonder at your choice of Gary. I guessed that he had been a really nice guy to you back in Yaxha. Whatever it was, Gary, kudo’s to you!
Finally, the statement of the night, “Kamikaze Survivor who would break a wedgie”. I’m not sure I get it, but it made me laugh. Thanks Bobby Jon. Of course, you also saw to it that Brian left the game with the title of “Good Ole’ Boy!”. Pay back is hell to pay, Brian!
Tonight, both tribes voted unanimously. That’s a good thing and a bad thing. From here on out, everyone has to start voting off people that they actually like. Jeff is right team,
“It can happen to you!” I can hardly wait for the merge.
