| 11/3/05 5:33 pm My deepest regrets, my Survivor friends I've been very busy doing knee bends I've been wanting to post a witty, new blog But Halloween came, and with it, a dense fog I must say last episode, left me quite pissed A birthday pool party? What have I missed? I yelled at the TV, "This is SO not fair"!! While waving and thrashing my little fist in the air! Since when is it cool to just cruise over and party? I'm surprised Probst didn't swing by with a bottle of Barcardi Maybe Tom will show up to teach them how to kill crocs with a machete Don't let him touch the rum though or he might fall over in his bed-e If that was the "merge celebration" I am NOT impressed I just anticipate watching tonights "idol quest" Goodbye for now all you Ghosts of Survivor Past Tune in tonight to see who will outlast? Doritos with 5-Cheesy poem love, Katie

Okay, I just realized a couple of things :) 1) Amy I left you out of the last blog...what the hell was I thinking? You kinda started off annoying me only because I am a judge mental bitch who thought your voice sounded like Tom's. But as the season went on your voice became pure butter! I love your story...strong woman who won't give up! You totally lived the true Survivor experience. From your rope line girlie scare to your ankle breaking...you played a great game and a fun one to watch. Thank You :) 2) Where the hell are all the other bloggers? I mean I would rag you Ian about not typing with your tonsils but at least you blogged. I have already pissed of Bobby Jon and Steph, might as well bring in some blogger to my side of pain... Kathy- Don't make me pee on you again!!! Katie- Did you not read that Ian has the bird flu? Hello and he still blogged! Johnny- Rob C not only wrote, produced and cast you in 'The Scorned'...he also let you star in it...and he still had time to blog from the after party in a drunken stoop er. Ethan- I don't know what your excuse is either! I have told Jenna to roll over and make you blog several times. Maybe when she rolls over it is some other curly haired dude :) James- You are the only one I excuse, because as you always state, "Your a broke ass.." Ralph- I never understood your blogs anyway. I hope you are Tom just so I won't feel guilty about that feeling.

| 10/31/05 6:32 pm Happy Halloween Everybody!! I just got back last night from the California Independent Film Festival where we were showing “The Scorned” (You can catch it tonight at 9pm on E!). I really though Bobby Jon was going home this week and I was glad he didn’t. It seems like all of the sudden everybody was all over Bobby Jon about how he got to play the game twice and was undeserving. And how come the other tribe never talks about how it’s now fair that Steph gets to come back. Did he say that his life-long dream has been to be on the Survivor jury? It’s great to be on the jury on Survivor and everything, but it’s not the SUPREME COURT! Anybody else find it odd that the other team just went to visit the other camp? Huh? To invite them to a pool party and eat snacks? What is this, “Survivor: Wisteria Lane”? Why did they just merge the tribes at Tribal Council? Did Jeff Probst have the scheduled merge day off so they got the “Do-It-Yourself Merge Kit”? And finally, where in the world is Ralph?

| 10/31/05 11:44 am HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANNI!!!!!
Another first this season by having a tribe go and visit another tribe!!! I couldn't believe it, I understood that its good to make friends with the other tribe, but most of them know each other already. Also, I would want to spend as much time as possible with my current tribe so I can have a good bond with them when the merge comes. All the time they spent bonding with the other tribe and eating chocolate could of been spent bonding with their own tribe. I guess it has its plus and minuses, but the merge was not far behind so it really didn't matter anyway.
Last week I wished for some puzzle challenges and boy did I get my wish!! I am glad what I like to call the "mummy making reward challenge" was just a reward challenge because I had alot of trouble keeping a straight face. Poor Rafe this was another bad challenge from him, his faces are priceless...
My standouts:
Steph- she kept alittle low key this week and good thing she didn't call anyone "gay" or "retarded". Is it Stephs intensity to win clouding her judgment or is it editing? We will have to wait and ask her ourself.
Gary- he might be one of the worst liers, next to Ian (sorry but you know it ;). "Who me a pro football player, no no not me, I wish." I don't think he is going to last much longer but I think he will get a jury slot.
Jamie and Judd- cant these boys keep their stuff in their pants long enough to let someone else at camp get the attention. All this male testosterone and ego is making me thank god I am a woman!
Danni- You go girl!! I think she is tough, and is thinking EVERYTHING out, which she should. We will be seeing alot of her I am pretty sure.
Cindy- she is the dark horse, and not to mention I think her cleavage is getting more attention than she is, especially by Coby :)
I am anxious to see how the merged tribe now reacts with each other, especially now that strength now makes you a target...

| 10/28/05 12:17 pm Finally I like Steph and Bobby Jon again. I found their hearts to be the star of the show this episode. Steph- Finally stopped being such a bad sport (except for the scowl on her face with the wrap up wrap out challenge) and tried her damnest to be the team player she always needed to be. Rafe and Steph make a lethal pair...he has the brain and she has the brawn. Anytime you put these two together they are going to do well in these kind of challenges. Steph loosening up at the pool was the first time I have seen 'Steph Palau' back in action...sweet warm and likable...lets hope she keeps these actions up. Bobby Jon- From making no sense last week to making too much sense this week. You were vulnerable, sweet and really asked the question...who deserved to go? Answer-nobody. But it is the game of Survivor. Feeding the fish with your peeling fleshy shoulders is only something another Survivor would get...my family gagged out...but I totally understood. Brandon- You are modern day zen. Watching you contemplate life and the game in the rain was not only strikingly beautiful...but peaceful and fascinating to watch. Danni- Last week I thought you were calling the shots...this week I know you are. Not only did Gary tell Amy she could only have him if you went. Brandon an Bobby Jon both seem to weigh everything you say very heavily. Your birthday invite was the BEST idea I have seen in years o the show. I am sure there was a drop of game in it...but I also think you just meant it. Gary- Still got nothing for ya! lol I am surprised that they would get rid of Amy over you because she seemed a easier pick off down the road...there most be something about you I am missing because your tribe really likes you. Judd- Thank god you were missing from most of this episode. Lydia- My Lydia...I am so scared you will go next. I hope I am wrong and you keep on trucking. Jamie and Cindy- Okay Cindy my season favorite. Who gave you the bitter pill? My lord you and Jamie both had the worst attitude out there at this point. You both just came off last night as very negative and nasty. " We won't go to the party etc..." Bah humbug! Go chop some wood then. Rafe- As much as I can't stand you at times I can't take me eyes off your every move. You falling down last night with your mummy wrap to kicking butt in the puzzle challenge. Your voice is sugary sweet but you will pick of your team ruthlessly and I will be shocked if you are not in the final two. Am I the only one that sees you as this seasons biggest threat? I thought the same thing about Katie. I don't know if the people out there are dumber leaving you or Steph in the game...even toss up if you ask me.

| 10/28/05 12:16 pm I gotta’ call this one, “Beat Up By Big Balls!” The last time I saw sores like this was in Vanuatu. The dead corral and vines up to your knees, had us all oozing pus and stinkin’ to high heaven! It’s not a pretty site! And those sores don’t heal up in the sun and salt water. Whoever said salt water is good for sores, never played Survivor!
At last, THE MERGE! I remember how exciting it was to reunite with our original tribe and get to know the new tribe mates. It is usually a time for feasting and celebrating together. I guess the birthday party was a kind of “merge” celebration. The numbers are stacked in favor of Gary, Steph, Rafe, Jamie, Lydia, and Judd. However, in Vanuatu, we had the men out numbered at the merge and had to change it up when alliances shifted. This game can turn on a dime. Ya’ never know what’s coming next. However, this might be the most integris looking group of final 10 we’ve seen yet. They are almost too likable! However, likeability appeals to me, so I’m having a ball. There are several castmates that would get my vote at this point.
Until now, I’ve been unwilling to guess at a possible winner. A lot depends on his ability to win some of the individual immunities, but Gary is sure looking like a good candidate now. He reminds me of Tom in some ways. I loved his composure on the Zip Line and his coaching in The Body Wrap. He had enough sense to get everyone “headed the same direction” while both circling and running forward. An ole’ guy once told me, “It’s a good idea to turn the wheelbarrow the direction you’re going, BEFORE you fill it up”. Gary’s used to “huddles” and moving teams together in a big pile. Had to chuckle at poor Steph and Lydia moving in opposite directions.
A Zip Line and a party is a great reward, but the name of the game is immunity and Amy’s time was up. Bobby Jon gave her the ultimate salute on the way out the door: “Amy’s the most real and genuine person I’ve ever known”. Gotta’ love that kind of compliment for a cop! She’s tough and she’s fun. I enjoyed every minute of her performance. No surprises with Gary’s vote against Amy. He was up front about it. “Get them (Danni and Brandon) and I’ll go with you”. Earlier in the game, Gary turned the tides by getting Bobby Jon, Danny, and Brandon to vote off Blake. Since then he’s returned loyalty for loyalty, a trait that I also carried forward throughout the game. It’s a good trade.
I loved Brandon’s dilemma. Survivor is a “conflicted” game. It’s a complicated game. It’s the most “complex” game I’ve ever known or imagined. You just have to “be there, done that” to truly understand the range of complex emotions and turmoil you go through on the journey to the end of the game. I’ve valued both Danni’s and Brandon’s struggle with integrity.
I continue to really like Brandon. He’s grown the nickname “cowboy”. An Okie’s gotta’ love that! I’d personally like to see him in the final two. He’s also a good coach and a hell of a competitor.
We built the first Corporate Ropes Course in the country and we had a doozie of a zip line. But, nothing can compare to that zipline on top of the world. It’s the longest one I’ve ever seen and a real tribute to the design team who actually climbed up there in the jungle and strung the durn thing. They did not disturb the environment to build it, and that’s a huge compliment. I continue to be amazed at this team on Survivor!
I think Jamie and Cindy ought to get together. They both were pretty sour on the party thing. Guess they’re just not party animals. However, I think it’d be good for both of them to lighten up! The party was a great opportunity to do some serious scouting. Plus, we got to see Steph and Judd in their skivvies!
Until now, “strength” has been an asset. Now it becomes a “deficit”. That’s good news for Lydia and Rafe. Everyone else is pretty tuff physically. Neither Rafe nor Lydia will get voted off for having offensive personalities. I gotta’ believe that Judd will want to go after Bobby Jon and Brandon first. However, Judd’s mouth and his “King of the Jungle” attitude just might get him the boot now.
