This one was a very confusing episode to say the least. Let me say that I agree with Ethan that I believe that Jamie misunderstood what Gary was saying to him. I guess a lack of food will do that to you.

The thing that really is disappointing me right now is that I don't see too many players going for the win. A wise man once said “YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME” and I’m afraid I don’t see too much of that. It just seems like everybody is willing to concede the million bucks over to Steph. Do Lydia or Cindy have a strategy to win? I guess their just counting on an immunity run at the end.

Jenna M. said that she was afraid this season was becoming like Thailand, but I think this is going down more like the All-Stars. Thailand saw an alliance of 5 people make their way from the start, but this alliance got formed after a tribal switch (like when Jenna L and Rupert became part of Rob and Amber's alliance along with Big Tom). Just like in the All-Stars you really can't see any of the other players doing anything to stand in the way of Judd and Steph.

Oh yeah, Ethan, great job on Survivor Live the other day, but I can't believe you left out you got to talk to me too!!

I am going to try to be sensitive to this but I have a a lot of people asking me about Jenn Lyon and Baby Janu so I feel the need to address it. And Jenn has been so supportive of being honest about what she is going through.

First Baby Janu is doing great :) Her staph infection is cleared up! She is still being treated but she will be fine as wine, so no worries...my wallet on the other hand (I have no insurance) is going to be another story.

I really don't know where to start with this...because Jenn and her family are so beautiful but they have had another moment in life. Jenn's sister in law passed away with brain cancer last week. I heard that Jenn had on a blonde bob length wig at the funeral and was there looking strong and graceful even though I know she was feeling the opposite because she is having such a tough time with her chemo...if only I was that strong. I am talking about this because Jenn had touched so many with her story and they all care about her like a sister. I am sending this out as a another moment for her family. Her parents who are now helping Jenn, her family and her two active nephews make it through this. When I wonder where Jenn gets the strength I see her two parents who carry this family through this. They are very much like Jenn...silent...sweet...passive...things I misunderstood about Jenn in the game, I know wish I was more like her.

So much love to you Jenn, your brother, sister, mom and dad...and two strong young nephews. I wish I could be more like all of you.

Let me say I love a good lie on survivor, but only when its a good one and when its necessary.

Why did Judd feel the need to lie about the clue to the hidden immunity idol? No one seemed to feel the need to ask him about the clue, so why bother? He not only lied to the unlucky three, Danni, Gary, and Bobby Jon, but he lied to people in his own alliance!!!!!

I loved the fact that Gary busted Judd on his lie when he saw him looking up in the trees. If Gary was smart he would discreetly tell Judd's alliance that he saw Judd looking in the trees for the idol and he lied to them. Maybe that will give Gary a chance to spilt up the evil axis.

And Jamie, giving up food to make up for bad behavior, nice one!! I don't think I would of had the willpower to do it, but I think it was all to save your ass which was starting to catch on fire with your alliance. Good move on your part.

Was Cindy even in this episode, I saw her once in the whole show and she just looked pissed. This was also another episode missing Danni. I have to say I am getting alittle tired of Lydia. I know she has great energy and team spirit but she really is useless and doing nothing strategically. Anyone can crush corn on the tribe. I really just don't want a freeloader making it to the final 4, she's doesn't deserve it.

Let's hope next week the power shifts or this is going to be a very predictable season, hello Survivor: Thailand, and no loyal survivor fan wants that!

Liar Liar...pants on fire. There were more big time lies told in this episode than on a Saturday night in a hip Manhattan bar. Judd lying about where the idol was located is probably the worst lie in Survivor history. I was actually able to translate his lie into normal talk: "The idol is like, on the ground, like seriously"...this really means: "Dont trust me, dont ever trust me, follow me and I will lead you to the idol like a tiny little leprachan". Gary ....you da man. I have to admit, I jumped from my seat when Gary pulled the idol out of his pocket. More lies. Jamie lying about who Gary was voting for. WHY? I think he really did mis understand Gary. There is no logical reason why he would do that. But then again, Jaime isnt too logical. Steph lying to Gary about not voting him out. Judd lying about not puking in the shelter. Okay, so that wasn't so important, but still.

In a very special moment, we saw Jaime growing as a man, taking responsibility for his previous immature actions, and giving up his spot in the reward challenge so that everyone could eat a little better (RECORD SCRATCH!) Oh, wait. He was just covering his ass to make up for being one the day before. He's still got the maturity level of a third grader. I wanted to puke like Judd. No one bought it.

I was fortunate enough to have the honor of taking Jenna's place o Survivor Live. Bobby Jon is a cool dude. He shed some light on many confusing things. Like the definition of a corn cake. But he did have kind words about everyone. He liked everyone. Which makes me think...hes a good liar too, and things are about to explode.

I'll leave you with my favorite moment and favorite quote of the episode: When Rafe took that graceful slo-mo 180 head dip into the water during the immunity challenge. And, Judd's immortal words, "I love you like a fat kid loves cake".

Where do I start? Hmmm how about the first thing that pops into my mind...

Steph crying over her hamburger.

Okay, here is Lydia seriously so grateful for her piece of shrunken up Fish that she is in tears thanking Jamie for his kind but strategic move to be eating the few spare nuts at the bottom of the line she was suppose to have. Then cut to Steph begging, pleading Judd with her eyes, eyebrows and Any other body part she could get to twitch to pick her for the 'grown ups'table because she had been lad den with a measly HAMBURGER as 4 people sat to her left with much less to eat. Rafe had half a ham sandwich.

Her eyebrows got their way and so did her dominance with Judd.

I paused Tivo and screamed for about 5 minutes..rewind...screamed again.

Second thought...

Finally Gary you mean something to me!!! I actually reacted to your every move last night. With age comes wisdom and you watching Judd make a ass out of himself in the forest looking for planes...best ever. I also agree with Scout that you practicing the balance beams besides, makes you one hell of a player. Gary I hope you can keep balancing...don't stop practicing.

Cindy are you still even on this show? A few peeps out of you at tribal (you do play Jeff very good at tribal by the way) and a vote from Gary was it for you tonight. I predict you to be my UTR player of the season and you could get as far as 4th but no further.

Rafe way to kick some booty in the challenge, I so thought you were gonna win and I was finding myself cheering for you. My final 2 man is proving to be a great player of the game in more ways than one. I bow to your greatness.

Jamie nice to see you trying to have a soul out there but is it too little to late? Hmm not sure but I bought your move of going to the back of the line...I teared up and everything. I am such a sucker for sweet pretty boys.

Danni you are still there and even though the numbers are against you Nobody talks about voting you out...I think if anyone can break the 6 up it isyou...everyone loves them some Danni.

Judd....staring at treetops...falling over drunk...smoking
cigars...nuff said.

Lydia. My Lydia. I love you. Let me say that. You make suck at Challenges but challenges aren't everything are they Scout? Your heart, smile, and mere presences warms me from the inside out. Grateful for your piece of fish..I am grateful for a piece of you. Refreshing for this season.

Bobby Jon. What a interesting ride you have had my friend. Nobody will
Ever know what you have been through except Steph. You are the only two people in Survivor history to have this chance and there is a reason for that. You are strong, loved, personable, and a all around great guy. You were changed after Palau, I could see that when we spoke. And I can tell now you are different still, nobody can live through this twice without their scars and blessing's. I think you will need time to just absorb this and move on. You have been living the Survivor experience for almost a full year straight...that has to be tiring.

My hat is off to you Bobby Jon...you are a great man and the world is a luckier place for having you in it.

Might seem a bit grand to make a statement like that to someone who
doesn't know him...but if you ever get the chance to met him...you will say it too.

Much love and respect to you Bobby Jon.

Opps! Make that "bad result for this game" be Steph, Jamie, and Judd" in the final three. Rafe would be a great result. Sorry about that, Rafe!

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire! Or is it, “Lying in the Buff!” Or perhaps it’s “Move over Lying Johnny No Fairplay!” At ease, Twila. Judd, Jamie, and Stephanie got you whooped up one side and down the other on the lying deal. Tonight’s episode should have been rated PG! What kind of message are we sending to all the kids who love this show! How’s this work, Mom? “Lying is just part of the game”. “Honesty doesn’t pay...as in, a million dollars!” Or, how’s about, “You win! Let’s get good and drunk!” Durn, I hate to see alcohol used as a reward. Come on Coke, or Pepsi, Seven Up, Dasani, or Got Milk?. Can’t you all get involved in this game, for the kids sake! How easy it is to get drunk when all you’ve been eating is pinches of corn!

Judd may “play the field” hard enough to win this game. But here’s the deal. Money comes and goes, as in the $640,000 you’re left with after taxes. However, what everyone wins in this game is REPUTATION! And, just a head’s up for Judd. His reputation sucks! How’s “Bold faced Liar” sound for the Big Mouth Bullyfrom New York!

Jamie sucked eggs and got to drink rank water. The act might have gone over great if he hadn’t followed it up with a big fat lie about Gary. What was he thinking! Gary promised to vote “with” him, even though he didn’t want to vote for Bobby Jon. Of course we also have to note that Gary cast a vote for Cindy. That might have seemed like a mystery to some, but for a professional quarterback who was about to get sacked, it was just a throw away to the side lines. He knew that he didn’t have the vote on Steph and he’s tryin’ not to piss her off any more than possible. Cindy was a no vote. She was safe and she doesn’t have the power to marital an advance on him in the future. However, unless Gary wins every immunity, he’s at bottom of the numbers game and the top of the next draft pick for the jury. As for me, the numbers game is BORING! Sure hope Gary can “pull it out in the last quarter” one more time.

Gotta’ give it to Gary for tracking Judd’s immunity idol search. He knows a great deal about “scouting” and it saved his butt tonight. There’s no question that he’s in the game to win, so why isn’t he really going for re-establishing the original alliance with Steph, Rafe, Lydia, andJamie? Perhaps he has failed in the past, but, unlike Stephanie, Rafe, Cindy and Lydia have morals. Hope Gary and Danni start helping Rafe “change up the game”.

Speaking of Rafe. Didn’t he step up to the plate in the immunity challenge! He’s got lots of balance and more macho michismo than I first thought. He was the first to win immunity. He just might be the last. He seems harmless enough. Wouldn’t that be a riot! I, for one, would love to see honesty and integrity win this ruthless season.

Bobby Jon finally got me cheering for him tonight. I’ve long respected his work ethic, and...the boy has heart! Lots and lots of heart! However, he lasted as long as he said he wanted to. It’s a great lesson. We get what we expect. He wanted to make the jury, and he did. I’m happy that you are on the jury, Bobby Jon, because I do believe that there are more people with integrity left in this game than those without. The only bad result would be to see Steph, Jamie, and Rafe all make final three. Then you’ll be forced to give a million bucks to someone who just couldn’t play the game fairly. I hope you get to vote for someone who has played with a good heart and an honest spirit. Your greatest gift tonight was telling the absolute truth about Stephanie. She will lie and renege on alliances. Remember her failed alliance with Angie, James, and Bobby Jon. Thank God for players like Tom in Palau who played this game with great leadership, stealful gaming, and total integrity.

I’m continuing to love Danni and Lydia. Both are upbeat players with great attitudes. I also loved seeing Danni, Rafe, and Gary practice their balance in preparation for the game. In this way, Gary is a great model for others.

Gotta’ give it to Lydia, Danni, and Cindy for keeping their mouths shut and just moving forward. Call it “under the radar” or “maturity”. Both work in this game. I know.
