I love Rafe! I think he is moving up on the love scale for me. He's kicking butt on challenges and finally he doesn't look like Stephs lapdog anymore. Let's hope the rest of the tribe doesn't catch on he's smarter than them and they vote him off.

I think Jamie got what was coming to him. To much trouble making, smack talking, and paranoia talk are bound to get you booted. I thank god for it because it caused a shake up of the majority and the look on Judds face was PRICELESS at tribal council.

I wonder how long Lydia is going to slide by? And how long Gary can keep up the smooth talking?

I think next week Judd is going to flip out on the group and this will give Gary and Danni a chance to weasel their way past getting voted off. Go underdogs!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Since there are still so many bloggers out of the loop I decided to pick up some of there slack with some gossip from a charity event I attended this last weekend in Houston for Jolanda's niece who passed aways with SIDS the U'Jana Conley Foundation.

There were lots of cool people there from Big Tom to Lisa (who I had never met before...sweet lady). Bubba was there with his beautiful wife who even though she has had 4 boys looks like she hasn't had one. <----His pretty wife has nothing to do with the story, just sharing.

Since I was there, the gay paper from the Houston Voice sent a photographer to take our pics during the event. He was a older very flamboyant fellow with a hurt foot because he had had surgery 2 days before (his hurt foot has nothing to do with anything just find it a funny visual him hopping all over the place). As the photographer was taking pictures Bubba happen to walk by and before you knew it the guy had pulled him in a photo with me. I don't think Bubba would enjoy having his picture in the gay paper locking arms with me...so I was already laughing on the inside. The photographer was telling me how pretty he thought I was so Bubba started to realize something was off but when he got done taking the picture.... he hugged Bubba...and out of the blue hobbled over and kissed Bubba on the lips.

Needless to say Bubba almost died.

The ticket to the party $50.00.
The highest idem up for bid went for $1200.00.
The look on Bubba's face after getting kissed by a gay man ...priceless.

I thought Bubba was going to punch this old man cold out.

So I thought that was even funnier than Bubba just being in a picture with me in a gay paper, he got his first kiss. It really ruined Bubba's night and I tried to reason with him at first. I told Bubba it wasn't any different than all the woman that come up and kiss me...harmless really. But Bubba didn't see it that way with his family value attitude. He told everyone all night about it and refused to see it any other way than offensive so I finally just had to get away from him before I punched him cold out.

Which is to bad because I had always liked Bubba before but I am not so sure after all this. But Bubba made sure to run away from the hobbling photographer the rest of the night so he wouldn't get a second helping...guess Bubba should be glad he got stuck with Ami in Vanuatu and not me lol.

People were still talking about it the day I left...but I wish everyone would just get over it especially Bubba. But he is a little homophobic I think anyway...so his loss. But I don't think we will be locking arms in pics anytime soon...at least for Bubba's manlyness sake I hope not.

So as always Catty Coby gossip...lets see who else can get mad at me.

Unlike you Coby, there was nothing about this episode that made me twiddle my thumbs. But thanks for the visual, that makes me chuckle:)

This episode had me in major flashbacks. I mean, physical flashbacks, all. I mean crazy, mental Jamie-like moments which I will share with you now... I was stuck on the floor caught in imaginary mudd clutching an invisible rope with the rantings of frustrated teammates echoing in my ears during the reward challenge. (I felt your pain, Lydia. It's not your fault you have short legs Lydia, It's OK my pancake dancing friend!!) I managed to climb my way back onto the couch and revel in reward with Gary, Judd, Danni and Steph. Before I knew it I was back on the Palau Aggressor II with Jenn and Gregg devouring fried food in a really hot robe when our loved ones arrived, and now I am in tears. The only thing that brings me back is the way too intellient, yellow eyes of my cat, Norman, staring at me with a confused look. It is only then, that I realize I am hunched over his cat bowl nibbling on diet food for overweight cats, with giant tears streaming down my face. I run back just in time to see Rafe win immunity. I throw my hands in the air and chant "Yes! I finally did it!!!" and me and Norman do the pancake. Then we vote Tom out, I win a million dollars and Ian and I run off and get married, Jenn is the maid of honor with Coby, Janu and Steph as my bridesmaids. Willard marries us and Norman is the ringbearer. Gregg is the wedding singer/DJ. Tom is our limo driver. (For those of you wondering, yes, Bobby Jon and Ibrehem were the strippers at the bachelorette party.) Fade to black.

Whew! That was rough. Speaking of rough, I think, just a hunch, call it intuition, but Jamie had a bit of a rough time mentally. No matter how you think you will play the game. When you are out there, a week feels like years and NO ONE wants to spend years with a paranoid guy who keeps chanting the same question over and over like Rain Man. Rafe handled it wonderfully, may I add.

Before I end, (my blog is getting dangerously close to "Scout-like") I would like to go off on a little tangent. Wrote a lil' paragraph bout it, an here it go: I would like to say Gary's constant repetition of the term "most deserving" is really beginning to make me retch up a giant coconut. Who defines, who deserves what, on Survivor? Lydia is not less deserving than others because she doesn't perform well in the challenges. She is out there with everyone else surviving the elements and playing the game as best as she can. She keeps a positive attitude and most importantly, her vote means just as much as anyone else's. Of course, people want to be with people that they like and respect out there (and this was something I should have thought more about in my game). However, if Caryn would have weaseled her way into the final two, I would have never say she didn't deserve to be there. I would respect the fact that she DID get there. I strongly believe anyone that plays the game of Survivor "deserves" nothing but respect. It is not an easy game no matter how you play it. Gary's "best of the best" is killing me, if you haven't noticed. Doesn't mean I don't respect him though, don't get me wrong.

One of my favorite moments: Bobby Jon, AKA: "The Flamingo Kid" flipping his do while cruising up to his seat on the Jury. Did anyone else hear the theme music to Miami-Vice? Love you Bobby Jon and I hope you come up with a number of creative-Coby-style ensembles while on the Jury.

Thanks for listening/reading-

Gallagher-out!

P.S. I hope Rafe goes ALL-THE-WAY!

I was twiddling my thumbs in this episode waiting for the Gary obvious vote out...and then....things changed! Way to keep things interesting you guys!!!

Steph- Finally a episode where I am starting to like you again. What was not to like? You kicked butt in the challenge. You are playing the game hard but with your head, not out of control. You and your alliance calmly sat down and discussed voting out Jamie. You let Gary beg his way in. Tom may have bullied his way through Palau to keep control but you seem to be spinning all the plates at once...without breaking a sweat or forcing it on anyone. Why aren't people trying to vote you out?

Rafe- You are making me eat more words more every week. From the ultimate UTR player to the man who won't stop winning immunity. I can't believe you won the challenge...that was a extremely hard challenge for that point in the game. People just don't realize how tired you are at day 27 but speaking of tired...

Jamie- Which came first the chicken or the egg? Jamie's paranoia or his vote out? I know what it is like to 'feel' like you are about to be out of the game and when you are that tired and stressed it really takes its toll. But thank you for taking my crown as pre-vote out crazy ass. And even though I have no reason too...I still liked you I don't know why. Good job and a very interesting player.

Gary- Thank you for being the only person to actually show emotion watching his family video. Are the rest of these people robots? I would have fallen to the floor screaming after 26 days of no family. Glad they are keeping the heart in the game. But p.s. why does everyone see you as the the games biggest threat? You haven't won much...hello people how about Rafe?

Danni- Hmmm you have become my new Gary, I don't feel much for ya. You are pretty and all with a cup of coffee but what is up with you wanting to see your dogs more than your family? I love my dogs too but that was a bit odd for me don't know why lol.

Cindy- Speaking of cups of coffee...how about Folgers! Can you smell the Folgers! You were to cute wanting a coffee high...and I can't imagine what that high did to you on a empty stomach...have fun coffee girl! Wasn't so impressed with you lashing out at Jamie as he again wanted to finish a challenge...I think you were just fed up with him more than the situation.

Judd- How happy I am that your alliance felt comfortable enough to leave you out of the vote? OOooo I am pretty happy. How does that 6th place spot feel that you turned on your whole tribe for? O wait it is almost Christmas...lets give him 5th.

Lydia- My Lydia. I should hate you on paper. You are the classic hanger on that is horrible at challenges but gets to the end. But you are the hanger oner that gets everyone to feel for you because you are so likable. I think you are the one calming effect Steph and Rafe have to make their decisions. You are the butter on their bread and without you none of this game would be playing this way for the two ringmasters. They need you to calm them down. You are a very important part of this game right now and you deserve to be to the end....I hope you get it.

p.s. How pretty was Bobby Jon last night? *sigh*

AIN’T IT FUN WHEN THE GOOD GUYS WIN! You should see me now, doing backward bows and scraps to the Great DoDaDa for Rafe! Rafe totally rocks! He single-handedly turned this game around tonight. The boy is SMOOOOOOOOTH! “Rah, Rah, Rafe” gets all my Rah, Rah’s tonight! He’s a steady, wise, kind, sweet, integris man, with lots of great physical game. He a straight shooter with an A + attitude. I’ve so hoped he and Lydia would turn this game around. He’s definitely not Steph’s “Lap Dog!” The boy is smart and he’s calm. He could easily pull out a final two or even win this game.

Poor Judd got a taste of “Odd man out!” He’s got to be wondering about his place in this game. He was the only person shocked at Jamie’s demise. Of course, Jamie got exactly what he himself expected. Ain’t life that way! Jamie’s paranoia, constant arguing and spreading emotional crap all over camp was bound to bring him his greatest fear. Rejection! Gotta’ forgive him. He’s just a kid with a bruised and misinformed ego.Camp life just improved considerably with his “blind sided” exit. Of course, one can’t really be blind-sided by the very thing that they expect. Don’t you know Bobby Jon was almost giddy to see Jamie get the boot!

It’s down to four women and three men. Steph and Rafe could continue to lead the alleged alliance of five in knocking off Danni and Gary. Or, the women could team up and vote off the men. Or, Lydia, Rafe, Gary and Danni could team up and vote off Steph, Judd, and Cindy. Hmmmm. Which way will they go? I for one would like to see Judd go next. Gary played it straight with Steph and Judd. “Play with the best, for the best” speaks to Steph’s heart about the game. However, it definitely didn’t strike a cord with Judd, but then he’s not really one of the best.

The video tapes from home gave my own heart strings a yank. Seeing Gary soften in the face of his wife and daughter, brought up the incredible vulnerability that we all feel at this point in the game. I’ve told eager applicants to Survivor to plan on being straight-forward about who they really are, because the game takes you to your knees emotionally, physically, and socially. The sight of a family member’s face makes grownmen cry! I’m still a fan of Gary’s all-out play and the “Man’s man” type of respect that he engenders from even men like Judd. I can’t be too hard on Judd this week. In the face of Jamie being such a jerk, Judd has actually toned down and started to behave himself. Well, except for that bare butt shot. Can’t say that I blame him for getting naked and getting clean, tho’.

Anybody out there surprised that Lydia’s name was not even mentioned? Not me!

Attitude is still the King (or Queen) in camp. Even after Lydia got stuck in the mud again and again, causing her team to lose the over-night reward, she was caught cheering up her buddy, Rafe. She’s all about keeping her chin up. I love her for that! She actually felt bad about voting Jamie off, but she’ll be happy she did when the sun rises over Xhakum.

Tonight Jamie was a real lesson about the importance of “picking hills to die on”.Come on, Jamie! His team lost big time. Everyone was exhausted. They need their strength for the immunity challenge. Did Jamie really think he could earn “macho” points by pushing Cindy and poor Lydia to finish! This is a shining example of a “hill not to die on!”

Cindy is starting to show off her physical game, but seems to be coasting along with Steph. Danni is....well, what is Danni doing? If I were her I’d start to paddle my boat with more gusto now. She needs an alliance and Steph just might give it to the ladies. It’s worth a try.

Steph seems to be in charge of the game at this point. She certainly made Cindy’s alliance with her as strong as coffee! Good move Steph. You just might pull out this game and make a lot of your fans very happy! I’m personally enjoying Steph more these days, and I’d still like to see Gary, Rafe or Lydia win the million...or more importantly, The Title.
