I take it back, Danni AND Rafe are my new Hogeboom. Danni cleaned up on that food auction. She got Kel's lost beef jerky and a giant sandwich. She also bought a secret little message form Probst. How cute. I was shocked when Danny's brother walked out, and not her dog. Danni was calm, cool, collective. No need for family. She is in the zone, ESPN Zone.

Having a family member visit is a liability. They take your mind off the game. They allow you to fall into a false sense of security. They may say something silly. For example..JUDD. Don't say that stuff out side your own head. But we all know Judd has trouble keeping stuff inside...including alcohol. In addition, Judd got a kiss of death...literally. He told his wife he was going to the final two with Steph and got a kiss. Don't count the chickens before they hatch...unless you are Richard Hatch.

Judd's wife is equal to 25 White Castle cheeseburgers. Well, Jenna is equal to 26 cheese burgers and a milkshake. So there!

Danni switched positions with Steph and won the immunity. She shed a tear. This is the first sign of emotion Danni has shown the whole game...and it was because of the game. Not silly little food issues, friendships, lying, and family. It was because she won an immunity. That's big time.

Rafe is smart. Very smart. He played dumb when approached by Steph. He made Steph think it was her idea.

Random thought: Everyone is always eating. But mostly Steph is always eating.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...Judd, Jaime asked me to tell you this: "Blindsided...Nice!!!Now that's how you get voted out".

But, your exit was fantastic. It's about time someone is actually pissed off when they get voted out. Scum bag.

Wow! What an episode last night! So much for what I wrote about the big flips coming on odd numbers, this came out of nowhere. Last time around I wondered "Could Steph be playing the most dominant female game ever played?" (And we're getting close to one of the the most dominant games - period!) The question I'm wondering is "Could Steph now even pull out a win in the final 2?"

The first thing working against Steph in the final 2 is that she is a former Survivor coming back to play the game. Out of this jury I can't tell how much of a factor this is going to be. It's almost like the argument that came up in the All-stars, "Could A Winner Win Again in The Final 2?". At first you think "No way", but the reverse argument could be made: "Look, I had a target on my back since day 1 and I STILL made it to the end - I deserve to win." The far bigger obstacle working against Steph is that she's stabbed two of her biggest allies in the back and another guy on the jury can't stand her (Bobby Jon).

Now, I know what you're saying, "Rob C, aren't you the one of the most backstabbing and most handsome Survivors of all-time? How can you criticize Steph for blind-siding Judd and Jamie?" While that is true, Steph and I play Survivor very differently. Steph has played a game where she is the clear leader of her group and now has been blind-sided two of her most loyal soldiers. You can't play as a leader for 33 days and start blindsiding your own alliance. Think of the other Survivors who had succss as the clear leaders of their tribe: Richard Hatch, Brian Heidik and Tom Westman (you could also argue Boston Rob on All-Stars, because that season people felt backstabbed more because of previous relationships that tribal loyalties). These were Survivors who didn't start taking out their core alliance until the end.

The Survivors who can make those back-stabbing tribe altering moves are supposed to be the "under-the-radar" players. The players who aren't the leaders of the group but the Survivors that are being lead by the leader. If you're already at the top of one alliance, why switch it up - THAT'S FOR PEOPLE LOOKING TO IMPROVE THEIR POSITION!! Instead I feel as though Steph has seriously jeopardized her chance of winning a game that she has clearly dominated from the start

Morning after thoughts: Don't you know that Margaret rejoices in Judd's demise! The good news about Judd being on the jury is that he will bring some great friction and drama to the finale! He'll be similar to Susan and Eliza. Can't wait to see him spout off one last time. It's downright funny to see supposed grownups "have fits and fall in them".

I woke up laughing at Lydia shamelessly offering up "her vote". "Anybody want my vote?" I love her. She makes me laugh. I can't tell if Rafe, Lydia, and Danni masterfully designed Judd's demise or if it all happened by chance. Whether by design or chance, the outcome has got to have Steph shakin' in her boots. Danni could well pull off getting all the way to the final two, and that would be just fine with me. She's grown on me. At this point in the game, you really get to see who has the grit. When the goin' gets tuff, the tuff lighten up. Such is the case with Rafe, Danni, and Lydia. I'd love to see all three in the final three. Rafe is still my man! He's the last man standing. With some good fortune in the final challenges, he'll be in the final two. If he makes it that far, I think he'll win the jury vote. More to be revealed!

Hey! What about Judd’s famous last words, “Somebody’s going home tonight. DEAL WITH IT!” So, “Deal with it, Judd!” And what about the gleam in Gary’s eyes as he watched Judd make his characteristic exit speech! Tonight’s vote made Gary a happy man. It also made half of America happy. Everywhere I go, people say, “Judd’s gotta’ go”. Wonder how his cute wife, Kristin, puts up with him. Ya’ had to’ love the exit speech. “It doesn’t feel good to be blind-sided and lied to”. Duh! Ain’t karma the sh-ts! No question that Judd got his just due tonight. Judd turned his alliance early on when he joined up with Stephanie and engineered the demise of Margaret. However, ya’ gotta’ be careful who you align with in this game, Judd. Steph has consistently turned on her alliances in the past (Angie, James, Bobby Jon). It was just Judd’s turn. Judd may feel like his castmates are “scum bags”, but I look over on the jury and don’t see a single person who’s gonna to be sympathic with Judd’s opinion now.

This is probably my favorite episode. It’s always emotional to see family and friends come out after 31 days. I’m a twin, so seeing Mindy and Cindy together really got my heart. Rafe’s weeping took me to my knees, and Steph’s reunion with Mike was precious. Ya’ gotta’ give it to Mike. The boy can handle a strong woman. I’m glad Judd got to see Kristin before he got the boot. It’s obvious he loves his wife. I just hope he doesn’t lie to her like he does everyone else. Kristin brought out a nice side of Judd. Besides lying and being a sore loser, Judd definitely played a tough game and managed to stay in longer than most. He also gave me a few laughs along the way. Ya’ made it to the final six, Judd. Deal with it!

Good Karma came walkin’ with Danni tonight. First of all, she looks a lot healthier. I was starting to feel sorry for her, but anyone who can do world class cartwheels and round-offs can’t be too durn faint! Great job, Danni! Done with class and grace. Then along came “money well spent” and a game that required brains! Brains is something that Danni has plenty of! Danni worked Steph good tonight. This was a well placed “coming out party for Danni”. She’s a doll. She’s intelligent. She’s a hard worker. And, she’s headed for the final four! Way to go, Danni! Steph was smart to realize that Danni had not lied. Integrity does, indeed, have a place in this game!

Cindy was left out of the loop tonight. Rafe, Steph, Danni and Lydia teamed up to get Judd out. Cindy might well be next. She still seems distant from the rest and she’s definitely a strong physical threat.

To me, Rafe still looks to be in charge of this game. What seems obvious (as in Steph being in charge) is not always so obvious. Rafe’s statement regarding “trust” at this level of the game, is soooooooo true. There really is a basic trust when it gets down to the final four. Whoever is not trustworthy is most vulnerable now.

Lydia has won the least of anyone, and she’s still in the game. Unless one has been out in this “obviously hostile environment”, there is no way to understand what it takes to stay in this game. It is not always the physical game. Sometimes losing a reward and having the opportunity to stay back at camp and “work the crowd” is a reward in itself.

I predict that Cindy will go home before Lydia. Cindy literally invested money in Judd and won a night with her sister. However, she’s out of the loop now. It’ll be interesting to watch her squirm. If I were Rafe, I’d be heeding my own words about trust in the next few days. Steph is the least trustworthy of the group and the strongest physical threat, next to Rafe. It’d be smart to put her on the jury. However, I got a feeling that Rafe won’t do that. Can’t wait for the next two episodes.
