Biography

Possessing a rapier wit and serious strategic skills, Rob Cesternino proved a formidable competitor on both AMAZON and ALL-STARS. As an All-Star, Rob has twice experienced both the grueling life of a castaway and the strangeness of returning to "normal" life back home. When you're out there, he recalls, "you forget about the comforts of everyday life. The funny thing about returning home is that you forget all the times it was awful and only remember the times it was fun."

Last November, Rob moved to Los Angeles from New York and currently works at Creative Light Entertainment, the production company that launched TheFishbowl.com, a reality TV website. Rob recently produced and co-wrote the movie "The Scorned," cast entirely with reality TV stars who were required to live together during the filming. The behind-the-scenes of that movie made up the reality TV show "Kill Reality" on E!

Now that "The Scorned" is wrapped, Rob is busy developing a number of different projects and is hard at work on his next screenplay. Has he found his dream job? Almost, it seems. "My dream job is still to become a game show host," he admits.

Even in his down-time, busy Rob doesn't stray too far from his beloved reality TV. "I also enjoy writing," he says, "and I watch a lot of sports in my spare time. Let's Go METS and JETS!"

"Being on SURVIVOR has changed my life in a number of different ways," Rob observes. "My life took a turn that would have not been possible had I not been cast for the show." Even with all the attention he has attracted as a result of having been a Survivor, Rob keeps it all in perspective. "I've never been one to confuse true celebrity status with being a contestant on reality television," he says. "However, I truly believe that reality TV can be an excellent opportunity. SURVIVOR can bring you exposure that might open doors that would never be possible otherwise."

When asked for anything else he'd like fans to know about him, Rob replies, "I like piņa coladas and getting caught in the rain. I'm not into yoga: I am into champagne." Piņa coladas aside, anyone interested in visiting Rob can do so anytime at TheFishbowl.com.
