5/9/06 8:08 am Shane, come back....come back Shane. All of a sudden the departure of The Marlboro man him self there is no point watching Survivor. I watched Survivor Live and Shane is a decent down to earth, funny and caring guy. I didn't have a chance to see his other three personalities, but I'm sure they are just the same as Shane. Oh yeah, Cerie is still playing so there is a point to the show. I'd like to quote my self from Episode 7 Blog "It's obvious who wants to be a millionaire, Cirie. She is playing great. Keep it up." I can't agree more. However, she may be too good and Aras and Danielle will kick her off. I wish Cirie's husband could take Terry's place stay another episode, he was fantastic. And then Aras may win a challenge. But it's down to the final four and it's still anyone's game. And by anyone, I mean anyone of those four. The others, not so much.
Tune in next week when...I have no idea what happens... |

5/8/06 7:00 pm Ok, T Dog. You are going to win the next immunity. You and Danielle will vote for Aras. Cirie and Aras will vote for Danielle. That's a tie, but that's alright. Now give Danielle your idol and Aras is a goner. Then, of course, you have to take Danielle with you to the final two, because Cirie will beat anyone. If you're lucky you'll win the jury vote, but something tells me that your cocky jockey attitude may get the jury to vote for Danielle. Wouldn't that be amazing. Danielle is starting to remind me of Jenna! Watch out, T Dog! This insight from Mark is worth sharing: I was a bit surprised after reading the "Survivors Strike Back" blogs this week that no one mentioned that this Final 4 has one member of each of the original 4 tribes ("older" men / "older" women / younger men / younger women). I think that is pretty amazing. Can't wait until Sunday night. What a great season! |

5/8/06 3:11 pm Oh, Survivor. Shame on you. SHAME ON YOU! Why would you make Shane likeable right before he gets booted? Why would you make me care about him for the first time as he’s kicked to the curb? You tease me and you please me.
I really found myself missing Sally this week. She’s the only one who ever gave Terry a run-for-it in the individual challenges. Despite that, I find myself a really big fan of the Cirie, Danielle, and Aras alliance. Finally, the likeable people have banded together and booted all the unlikeable ones so that they have a chance to actually GET to the Final 2! Cirie is playing quite brilliantly, but I have a nagging feeling she could be bidding us farewell this week. She and Aras are just too close, and Danielle will be angling to break that up with Terry this week I imagine. And if it’s a 2-2 tie between Danielle and Cirie, I imagine that the greatest female athlete to ever have lived (or so she told us on day one) might emerge on top.
That is, unless Terry’s immunity idol throws a kink in things. But, I’m pretty convinced the brilliant strategist is saving it for the Final 2, where he’ll pull it out and be like, “Ha ha! I win! Right, right? Oh shoot.” I know the editing is telling us that Terry was born of an immaculate conception, but I get the feeling that he couldn’t beat ANY of the remaining players in a Final 2 vote. He’s been shoving it in the Casayas faces all along that they couldn’t beat him in immunity, and if he gets to the Final vote, I think they’ll shove it in his face by telling him he can’t win without THEIR votes. They don’t strike me as a particularly un-petty group. Which leads me to believe that Terry finishes third, because why would they make him so gosh darn likeable if he loses the final vote? Cirie fourth, Terry third, which leaves us with Danielle and Aras in the Final 2. With, Danielle winning? I don’t really know. It’s a toss-up between those two, but the one thing that jumps out in my mind is Cirie’s confessional this week that Danielle would be tough to beat in the Final 2. Up until now all we’ve really seen from Danielle is that she doesn’t work hard around camp, and then we get a confessional from CIRIE of all people, unstoppable final vote juggernaut that she is, thinking she might lose. It makes me think that Danielle just might have more votes in her skin-tight short-short pocket than we think.
And thank you for bringing back the opening credits, that’s every Survivor’s favorite part of their season. I have mine in slow-motion constantly playing on loop in my room. And Sally’s. My boyfriend is getting jealous, but he has nothing to worry about, or does he? Sally, my phone number and home address are googleable on the Internet. Find me, tease me, please me.

5/6/06 9:33 am Smoke it up Shane because your time is up!
I have to admit Shane was not my favorite player at first but I am going to miss him. He was real, spoke his mind, and was unpredictable and no one that is left is nearly that entertaining, maybe with the exception of Cirie.
Cirie is playing a great game but I'm afraid she is playing herself into third place. She's so good at the game and has come so far I wouldn't want to take her to the final two.
Danielle seems to be everyones choice to take to the final two now I think. But I wouldn't count her out if she does make it to the final two. She has a lot of previous tribe members on the jury and there is no doubt she is one tough chick.
I think Aras is in a good place now. It seems like he is the golden boy and if he makes it to the final two I think he is in a very good position to win. Plus he gives terry a run for his money at least on the challenges. While I DO NOT think Terry is the best survivor player ever, its not just strength that qualifies you for that, the guy is a challenge animal its incredible to watch. I think he has psyched me out in the challenges at home. Every time a challenge starts I just assume he is going to win.
Well 4 people left and 2 shows hmm very interesting! Either way this is an interesting final 4!
I love the family visit its such an amazing experience to share with a loved one.
Until next time! And just for the record does everyone think the final three challenge will be endurance? I'm thinking they are going to mix it up and try something different!
Have a good cinco weekend! Jenna |

5/5/06 12:09 am Hands down, my favorite part of this episode was the shout-out to Amy's GOOOOOOOOLDEN BOOOOOOOOOY! Aw, man, Amy! Those were some good times. I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal to use that phrase without paying you a hefty sum. You really should look into suing Shane. Or, at the very least, arresting him. You have that power, right?
Speaking of Blake, it's his birthday today. (If anyone was ever to be born on Cinco de Mayo, it's him.) Happy Birthday, Blake! Hope you're having a good one.
I'll write more later. For now, I have to go tend to my friend Teddy, who is on suicide watch now that Shane has been voted off (who knew he had hardcore fans?).
Happy Friday/Cinco de Mayo, everyone. |

5/4/06 10:25 pm If we remain open to growth, we’ll drop one opinion and pick up another when a better one comes along. Such is my experience with Shane. I’ll miss his uncontrollable expression of himself. Nothing remains sacred to Shane! He even mocks out the mighty Jeff Probst! I loved it. I also loved his extreme gratitude for his son and the overnight visit. Shane has been one of the most entertaining characters this season. I won’t miss his stomach stance, but I will miss his inability to do anything other than be completely himself. Shane is a true and endearing “piece of work”. I’ll miss him. His flip from the pole was like a kid. He is just a great big kid, and I’ve come to love him. Boston is a doll and I hope he goes to his grave with the mis-conception that his Dad is an athlete! Cirie rules the roost again! The girl is a cunning, controlling, mighty, potent, puissant player, and she came to win it all. It would definitely be righteous if the girlfriend lucked up and won the final immunity challenge. Wouldn’t that be good! To say that Cirie has come a long way in this game is an understatement. She gives hope the hopeless and inspiration to every couch potato in the country. She sure worked HB. “Honey Bunny, can you do…?” just about took her man to his knees! They are precious and she is precious, and I wouldn’t mind seeing Cirie win it all. She’s consistently taking out all the players that would be easy to beat in the final two. Great strategy and not one I remember seeing before. Cirie screaming on the twenty-foot pole and the “No diving for me, Thank you!” made me laugh out loud! I can’t quite see Terry taking her to the final two, but who says he’s gonna’ win the last immunity? Danielle is still around, and the girlfriend is one tuff cookie. She sucked up her misfortune at the reward challenge and took it like a woman! Good on you, Danielle. T Dog is the true Captain Marvel. He’s an amazing, astonishing, astounding, spectacular, awe-inspiring, sensational, extraordinary player! Hands down, Terry is the best player to ever be cast in Survivor. Poor lil’ Aras. His invidiousness is starting to color him baaaaadddd! Guess T Dog hasn’t really “lit his fire quite enough!” I gotta’ agree with T Dog. An over-night with a wife or son might just top an over-night with Mama! I also agree with Aras. There is no real comparison about “Rocks” in our lives, especially when the only rock Aras has is Mama. I wonder who he’ll pick if he ever lands a partner? Speaking from experience, the chasm of age and experience in this show can really crate on your nerves. Terry is twice Aras’s age, and no matter what other’s say, it makes a huge difference! Good for Jeff for “working Aras at Tribal! You’d think at some point Aras would just fest up and admit that he’s sick and tired of Terry kicking his ass! I personally loved Shane’s comment about Aras “levitating off the island”! T Dog doesn’t have to worry about lying in this show, cuz’ his wife Trish has that covered. She didn’t flinch the breath of one hair when she told Shane a bold-faced lie. Love the girl! Terry has to be tuff to hang with this gal. By the way, Trish, I think T Dog is damn sexy with that beard! I thought the idol was only good until the final four. Now T Dog is guaranteed a slot in the final three. If he wins the next immunity he could give his idol to whom ever he wants to take to the final two. If he makes it to the final two, he’ll win it. Now he’s got Austin, Sally, Bruce, Courtney, and probably Shane! Having the numbers coming into the merge seems like a good plan, but it’ll bite you in the butt. Terry will be judged for playing a damn good game, against all odds. All others will be judged for their betrayal. That’s the flip side of winning the numbers early in the game. This episode got the best FAMILY REWARD yet. The third place winner got the same thing as our 1st place winner in Vanuatu! Great over-night with loved ones for three people! Amazing! This is always my favorite episode. There is no way to explain how much these visits mean at this point in the game. I always advise people to just be themselves in their application tapes because this game will take you to your knees!

5/4/06 9:47 pm * Shane you entertained me. You never won a damn thing and the way you look, well, I don’t think you could fight your way out of paper bag. I will say this. I cried for you when you saw your son. I was happy for you. When you were surprised that Courtney was voted off, that is a sign. It means you’re on the outside. Shane got totally played. Boston rocks!
Did Shane call Aras “Golden Boy”? That is my line. Brian, where are you? I think I’m owed some royalties.
HEMAN does it freaking again. I’m glad he chose Shane to see his son. WE know why he sent Danielle to EXILE. Aras wasn’t happy. He was Boo Hooing.
Aras got pissy when Terry didn’t pick him to see his Mother and the reason for it. I admit, I agreed with Terry. Aras is just mad because he can’t beat Terry. If anyone can beat Terry physically, it should be Aras. Aras beat Terry next week!!!!! Or stop bitching... I’m with you. C’mon, I’m rooting for you here.
Cirie…………Girl, you are working it! Your husband is a riot. Dirty water? Yes, HB we are not drinking bottled water. The s*@# is nasty! You had him working Cirie. That is right, don’t exert any energy. Cirie made a comment tonight about being 35, going through this experience and realizing that she could do anything after this. It so true. You learn so much about yourself and just what you are made of.
Danielle will be the one that everyone will now want to take to the final 2, in my opinion. Courtney is pissed at her for her vote. Shane wanted her out. No one can take Cirie. I hope they do but she is way too likeable. Who knows???? I think it will be Terry and Danielle. I’m not making any wagers on it. It is just an educated guess.
Where is everyone?
