Diane1Fan: Who is the one person who shocked you the most by voting against you?
Diane Ogden: Actually, I was surprised that Tom voted to keep me. I wasn't really shocked at any of the other votes, because I was really sick and everybody knew that. I think that if I'd been stronger and wasn't sick, I would have stayed, and Clarence would have been gone, since I'd had other members of the tribe ask me if I was able to make it back from Tribal Council. But as we walked to Tribal Council, I was having trouble walking; I was stumbling. I didn't think it would have been fair to have my tribe carry me back, so I just told them the truth, and said "If I don't get water after Tribal Council, I don't think I'm going to make it back on my own power."
RustyShackleburt: Why is milking a goat easier than milking a cow?
Diane Ogden: [laughs] Yeah, you'd have to ask Tom that question. I'm sure he's very adept at milking goats! RustyShackleburt, you're talking to Diane, not Tom! I know jack about goats!! I'm from the Corn Huskers State, not the goat state!
GoSamburuTribe: Diane, what kind of food was your tribe given to eat?
Diane Ogden: We had canned food in rusty cans, and maize, and we had a little vegetable garden, but they hadn't planted it by the time I'd left, so I don't know what was up with that. But we had cherries and beans for sure!
Surv: My favorite was Ethan. Can you give us your impressions of him, or any of your fellow tribe mates?
Diane Ogden: I thought Ethan was a sweetie, and we actually keep in touch by email. I keep in touch with most of the other tribe by e-mail and by phone. And some on the other tribe too, like Carl and Theresa, Linda, Lindsey and Silas. I guess I keep in touch with pretty much most of them. Even Clarence: we e-mail and talk on the phone also.
Batty: Diane, what did Clarence do with the can?
Diane Ogden: I don't know what he did with the can! All I know is that when we were talking after my tribe came back, Clarence said he got rid of it. Remember, I was lying face down in the dirt. I was sick!
