SURVIVOR Host: There are lots of great questions, so let's begin! If you're just joining us, we're chatting live with John Carroll. To ask John a question, please type it in the space below and click "Ask the Survivor." We'll get to as many of your questions as we can. Let's get started!!!

Hi John, welcome and thanks for being here to chat with us today.
John Carroll: Hello everyone!!

francelee: Hey John, you're my favorite Survivor! I'm so sad, you got voted out, & am furious to those that hate you. Anyway, what was your first reaction when Jeff announced you were the one voted off instead of Sean?
John Carroll: Thank you, thank you! I'm glad to know that someone doesn't hate me out there. I actually knew before Tribal Council that I was going to be voted out, so it wasn't a surprise to me but through the editing they made it look like it was. Just because I'm voted out, doesn't mean I'm done--keep watching!

BettyBooHoo: In hindsight, do you think it was a mistake to have knocked everyone out in the Immunity Challenge in pretty much the order you wanted them to be voted off the island? And why tell V "Atta girl" when she took down one of Kathy's coconuts? That was a blatant smack in Kathy's face.
John Carroll: Good question. There really wasn't any organized pattern. It just turned out that way between the four of us running amok in the coconuts. And when it was all said and done, we said "Oops, what have we done?" It definitely was a mistake, but there wasn't any organized pattern. I just kind of happened and then...oh, no! A Freudian chop.

chaser: How do you feel about Zoe voting against the alliance and voting you out?
John Carroll: Good question! I just have one word for her "BIATCH!" *laughs* You know, the funny thing is the phone started ringing off the hook after I was voted out. I didn't even see it last night. A reporter told me this morning.

carson: What surprised you the most from actually watching the show?
John Carroll: Kathy's emergence as a hardcore player, followed by Sean, Paschal and Neleh. It was really interesting to watch. I had no idea that Kathy was really gunning for me.

katiepoo: Rotu seemed to be getting along REALLY well at the beginning before the switch, almost too well. And now everyone is backstabbing. Was it all an act or was there a real bond there?
John Carroll: The Rotu love tribe was definitely a double-edged sword, because the bonding was genuine, and we're all still bonded that way back in real life. However, it probably would have been better for us to have lost a challenge or two, so we were forced to play the game sooner. Tammy and I were playing the game from day one, and some hadn't started playing until day 24. So the people who were trying to play the game hard came across as villainous or as schemers while everyone else was picking flowers and traipsing through the woods.
