Survivor_Host: There are tons of great questions, so let's get started!! If you're just joining us, we're chatting live with Sarah Jones. To ask Sarah a question, please type it in the space below and click "Ask the Survivor." We'll get to as many of your questions as we can. Let's get started!!! Hi Sarah, thanks for being here to chat with us today. Sarah Jones: Hi, how are you?! Bubba: Hi Sara, I was very proud to see you take the "high road" when you were voted off. How difficult was it for you not to take friction from Gina personally? Or did you feel as though there was any friction? Sarah Jones: I personally didn't feel the friction. I didn't know at the time how many dirty looks she'd thrown at me until I'd seen the show. I had the attitude from the beginning that this was just a game and nothing else and I think that was the best attitude to have. That's why it was easy for me to wish everyone that was still in the game good luck and I meant it. Ballad: Sarah, Gina seemed to gain some hope and strength when the tribes reformed. She seemed pretty outraged by the old tribe's voting off of Hunter and voiced that to others in the new tribe. Do you think that had an impact on the voting or was it just your own actions that caused your ousting? Sarah Jones: I would say a little of both. I was miserable those last three days from my bug bites and I definitely wasn't participating as much as I should have. kelbel: How long did it take to get rid of your "no-no" bites? Sarah Jones: I'm finally getting rid of the scars, they've started to fade in the past month or so. I will still probably be able to look down at my legs and see the scars to remind of those days... edog8: Why did you form an alliance with Rob? It seems it may have been a wiser choice to align with Hunter. Why did you pick Rob? Sarah Jones: Me and Rob had a connection from the very beginning and we got along the best and seemed to have the same opinions of everyone, and kind of from the beginning Hunter and I didn't seem to get along that great, there was a little tension between us. I trusted Rob too so it just seemed natural to me to make him my little buddy. hunterfan: What do you think of Rob now that you've seen his private comments about you? Sarah Jones: Like I said before I don't take anything personally from the game and he definitely seems more evil in the game than in real life. I needed him just as much as he needed me. moonshadow: So how do you feel about the way you were portrayed to the viewers.... do you think it was fair? And now that you have seen it for yourself, do you think you would have done things differently?? Sarah Jones: It was fair because of the fact that I did do everything that they showed but there was also a lot that you didn't get to see. What I would have done differently is during the switch last night I was originally standing on a different circle and at the last minute I moved to a different one and the one I'd been standing on first would have put me on Rotu, which would have changed the game completely. Always trust your first instinct.  |
