AntiCharisma: Clay, on the show you seemed fascinated by rear ends. Is that just editing, or the real you?
Clay: No, I'm a butt man! There's no doubt about it. It's not to belittle or shame anyone. The way they edited me lookin' at Erin was all editing. I mean, look, I even told an elephant it had a nice butt! Yeah, I like butts. If you could see my wife, you would have no doubt as to why I fell in love with such a pretty woman, and if you could see her rear end you would definitely know why I'm a butt man. She's 46, and I would put her up against any of them! All the girls on the show and me have laughed about how they edited, and they all love me, and we're all good friends.
Dodger: Clay, would you have had a better chance against Ted or Jan than you did against Brian?
Clay: I think I would have had a really good chance against Ted. I think it would have been 7-0. With Ted, our personalities definitely got to clashing before he got kicked off. One of the things that got under my skin about Ted...missing family was true out there, and we got a tear in our eyes, but Ted would laugh at us because we'd tear up thinking about our families and how much we love 'em and miss 'em. I told him one day when he was laughing at me while I was tearing up thinking about my family and kids, "Ted, you laugh at all of us for tearing about our families. Tease me, make fun of me, but don't laugh at me for getting a tear in my eye for loving my family so much." He didn't like the comment, and he said, "You don't have to be so touchy about that." I said, "Well I'm not, just don't laugh at me."
bobby: Clay, when Robb called you a backwards hick what were your thoughts?
Clay: [laughs] I mean, I didn't know until I saw it on TV, and I laughed at it. I mean, Robb is a super nice guy, and he says, "It's funny how the whole world thinks I was trying to kill you. I was just pushing you off. You're a lot shorter than me, and that's the first place I held on to. Everybody thinks I was trying to kill you!" But he's a really, really nice guy.
peeking_but_working: Hi Clay! Loved watching you on SURVIVOR THAILAND. In one word each, how would you describe Jan, Helen, Brian and Ted?
Clay: a very loving, emotional, sincere woman; Helen: a serious woman, and her true emotions don't show on her face, but she has a very big heart for her family, I do know that; Brian: definitely a manipulator. His life is manipulating, and he definitely showed that; Ted: very big guy that thinks everything should be his way. He is extremely selfish.
