Amandazon: Jan, you are so sweet! Do you feel like your emotions helped or hindered your progress in the game?Jan: I don't know, that's just how I am. I can't be anything other than the way I am naturally. I'm very sensitive, especially if you talk about animals or my family or my kids. I just had to be me, which was natural.
MistleToe_CyberChick: Jan, most people think you are the sweetest person on the show. So tell us, did you do ANYTHING bad?
Jan: [laughs] Yeah, I did find the wine bottle a coupla times! Y'know, I just tried to play it without backstabbin' or lyin' and cheatin', and that's kind of hard in a game like this. If you can't be nice, then that's just the way it is.
mitch: What were the grossest things you ate?
Jan: I think the slugs off the walls. It was the grossest thing I had to eat, but they never showed it. We had to scrape slugs off the wall and then we had to take them back and boil 'em and scrape off the shell, cut it down the middle like an armadillo and then eat them. But they had protein, so that's why we ate 'em.
SouthTampaGuy: Jan, what's Jeff like?
Jan: He is great! He really monitors the contestants. He gets on 'em when they're not doing the rules right. He doesn't have time when they're not following the rules. It irritates them because someone could get hurt. He laughs though; he can have fun. He's a doll, really. Now, my son Jeff was also out there, and he ate those bugs, and he doesn't eat anything. He's a freako! He doesn't eat anything strange at all. He was a trouper to do that; he was a superstar in my eyes.
Amandazon: Hi Janny! Is your son single? He's hot.
Jan: [laughs] Amanda, he IS single, he's 26 and he is a doll-baby. He's a sweet man!
helenfan3: Jan, what's your favorite type of beer?
Jan: [laughs] I like Sam Adams, Becks, some heavier beers.
SURVIVORCrazY: Jan, if you won Immunity, would you have taken Clay or Brian?
Jan: Probably Clay, because I think he irritated more people. Because I didn't see all that stuff that Brian was saying in the background until now.
Jim_George_Paulos: Do you feel that Brian backstabbed Helen, or vice versa, towards the end of the game?
Jan: I think Helen felt that Brian backstabbed her bad. She had a lot of trust in their relationship, and she was totally blown away that she was voted off.
