lovesurvivor: Stephanie, do you regret not changing tribes now that you look back?
Stephanie: Yes and no. It was really a catch-22 because if I went to Chuay Gahn and they lost the immunity challenge then I would have been the first voted off because I wasn't an original member. I also knew the same with Sook Jai--that I would probably get voted off. But I think it was time for me to go.
FireyRedTU: Hey Stephanie!! What was your reaction to the way the [original] tribes were chosen?
Stephanie: I thought it was very neat the way that was set up. It was like being chosen for a sports team when you were in high school. It made me feel really good to be the first one chosen.
andthen: Stephanie, during the dummy reward challenge, a few of you guys said "Give Ken the 1st banana." Why was that because you saw him as a leader or what was the reason behind that?
Stephanie: It was Ken's 30th birthday and since we didn't have a cake... we gave him a banana! *laughs*
Laiken: Hi Steph, when you decorated the 'dummy', did you intentionally make it look like Robb?
Stephanie: *laughs* No, Robb actually did the face of the dummy so maybe... I mean, *laughs* maybe Robb wanted it to look like him... I don't know! *laughs*
SurvivorBecca: Steph, you seemed to be good friends with Jed. Did you two spend much time together during your remaining time in Thailand?
Stephanie: Yes, Jed and I traveled across Thailand together and had a wonderful time.
Sundowner: Stephanie - If you weren't there to play the game why would a swap have mattered to you?
Stephanie: Hindsight is 20/20 and being home now I regret not trying to be good TV for longer.
Vivyan: Stephanie, wasn't Jeff Probst kind of edgy on you guys?
Stephanie: Jeff is funny. He's a really cool guy but you have to understand that he's dealing with a crazy bunch of people and it's 115 degrees every day. You don't want to hang out in the heat all day long, messing with people who aren't listening to you.
Grooves: Was the environment more harsh than you thought it would be?
Stephanie: No, I expected the heat, the humidity, the rain and all of the animals but as far as the climate there was really no surprise.
Probstaholic: Stephanie, why didn't you try to eat a monkey?
Stephanie: *laughs* We were in a national park and we were not allowed to harm any animals.
girlONfire: i admire that you went in to be good TV, you had a humor your tribemates lacked. What is their problem?
Stephanie: *laughs* I'm not really sure... it's a pretty harsh environment. You don't feel well and you're starving to death and it's very hard to stay buoyant.
cafunston: Stephanie, why did you sleep in the rain? Was the fort that uncomfortable or did you not want to sleep there because of the importance others placed on building it?
Stephanie: It's not comfortable to sleep on wood, everybody was kind of complaining about it and there was only room for about five people in there. Sleeping in the sand was very comfortable because it forms to your body and I dug a hole and layered it with the hot sand from underneath the fire and I stayed VERY warm. The rain doesn't bother me at all.
