SURVIVOR Host: There are lots of great questions, so let's get to as many as we can! If you're just joining us, we're chatting live with Survivor Tanya Vance. Tanya! Thanks for spending some time to chat with us today. Are you ready for some questions?
Tanya: Absolutely!
SURVIVOR Host: OK. Here's our first question.
sorryTanya: I'm one of your fans that hated to see you go, but please tell us, Tanya, just how hard was it?
Tanya: It was very hard. The heat and humidity, and of course with me suffering from dehydration, it made it very difficult.
kimmie: Hi Tanya. First of all, congrats on even making it on the show. I'd like to know if you were shocked that you were voted off, or were you expecting it? Tanya: I was expecting it. I'd been warned a little bit by Brian and Helen.
tarafromtenn: Hi Tanya, Why did you vote for Helen? I thought the vote should go for Jan. She seemed to weigh you all down.
Tanya: Well, I knew that Ghandia was voting for Helen, and you know, with the dynamics of the show, sometimes votes can hurt you. So, I also voted for Helen so no one else on the tribe would be jeopardized. Plus, I knew I was going. [laughs]
Jeff_Probst_Is_Sexy: Have your family and friends been supportive of you being on SURVIVOR?
Tanya: Definitely; they're very excited about it and they've been great.
Thai Me Up: Tanya, you said you didn't think it would be this rough. What were you expecting, exactly?
Tanya: The only thing that was rough was being dehydrated. I didn't expect that, which made things that were physically played difficult for me.
Trxxiego: Did you have any particular strategy going into the game?
Tanya: I wanted to fly low under the radar, and I definitely wanted to make some alliances with someone--it didn't matter who--but you want to make alliances with some of the stronger people on the team.
hank: Who did you consider making alliances with?
Tanya: Brian and Ghandia and Jan.
Thai Me Up: Tanya, what did you eat after you got booted from the tribe?
Tanya: [laughs] I had a Coca-Cola and some rice.
Manny: Who was your ('chat')orite member of your tribe?
Tanya: Oh, gosh, that's a hard one...I like them all, it's too hard to say. They're all great.
TanyaVancesTitans: What's with the tattoo, Tanya? It rox!
Tanya: [laughs] Thank you! It's just something crazy that I decided to do when I got out of college; it's a sun on the small of my back. My mother hates it. [laughs]
