Legend41: Hello Darrah, you amazed me with the three straight immunities! Were you holding back?
Darrah: No, I mean, I tried my hardest on the other ones, but I tried even harder towards the end. If you watched all the episodes, they wanted to vote me off each time, so I knew I had to win. So, I won all three but not the one I needed the most--the one against the jury.

Survivorcrazy: Darrah, who did you think was the most attractive guy on the island?
Darrah: I think all the guys on our tribe were probably most attractive of all but no one specific.

akgurl23: Seems like at one point, you were ready to go home. What turned things around for you?
Darrah: I was never ready to go home, it was edited that way. Where they said that it wasn't even in the right place...I had my swimsuit on and didn't get my swimsuit til two challenges later. I never said that I was ready to go home, but Rupert said I was ready to go home. I never, ever said it. That was the only night I was packing my stuff, the night I got voted off. they put that in the wrong spot. When Rupert got voted off, I was acting, I knew he was going home. The editing was put in the wrong spot.

Scotti: Darrah, did you watch any other Survivors shows, and if so, who was your favorite player?
Darrah: I did watch all the others except the very first Survivor. My favorite was probably Big Tom just because he's country and was a funny character. He was one of my favorites, and then Colby was probably my other favorite.

cajunwuman: What did you learn about yourself after being on Survivor?
Darrah: I learned to never throw away food...[laughs] I usually would never eat leftovers and now I do so I learned not to throw away food and cherish all the food that I have.

di5c0diva: Darrah, you seemed taken aback when Jeff mentioned you "worked with dead people." Were you at all offended by that?
Darrah: No, I'm not offended by that. I would have never gone to school for that if I thought I'd be offended by it.

gogogadget: In the final Immunity Challenge, did you think that was fair that five people in the jury got to make a decision together against each of you individually?
Darrah: No, I don't think it's fair. We're out there having to fight for ourselves and they have a group of them putting all their minds together to form an answer. I don't think it's fair, but it's Survivor and you never know what's going to happen.

HattiesburgSurvivor: Darrah, do you plan on moving out of Southern Mississsippi now that you are back?
Darrah: No, I'm not going to move out of Mississippi unless I get some sort of modeling career going on. For right now I'm going to be here.

Georgiaboy: Darrah, did they edit out anything that you wished that had shown?
Darrah: Yeah, I do wish they'd have shown more of our tribe during the day. We were like a big family sitting around talking, laughing, cutting up and getting along really well all day. It made us look like we didn't get along at all. They never showed us eating and although we didn't have that much food we did it. They didn't show us going out and getting mussels.

WindyCityJo: Darrah, what was in you bag that you wished you'd had on the island?
Darrah: My toothbrush! I wish I would've had a toothbrush and my ponytail holder. My toothbrush is probably one of my best friends. [laughs] So, it was kind of hard not having a toothbrush and not being able to brush my teeth, but I did get to brush my teeth at the Reward Challenge.

kissitjon: Darrah, which was harder to stomach: the Survivor smoothie, or Jon's come-ons?
Darrah: The smoothie most definitely. You can ignore Jon but you have to get the smoothie down. It didn't taste that bad but the smell made me gag.

lilly: Did the Outcasts discuss where they were and what they were doing when they were voted out the first time?
Darrah: I asked Lill what they'd been doing, if they'd been eating or sleeping and she said they'd been living like us, which we knew was a lie. They had a bed, a cold shower. They had chicken and eggs, clean bottled water. They had a lot I guess...but they really knew what they were doing.

AUSTRALIALuvsDARRAH: How did you keep your teeth so white, you gorgeous thing?
Darrah: I'd pull off some bamboo and it was frayed on the ends so I scraped them. It was halfway decent...at least they weren't slimey.

Valmcp: Hi Darrah! Which of the castmates will you keep in contact with and who else would rather not cross paths with again?
Darrah: I'm probably going to keep in contact with Tijuana, Osten, Ryan O., Andrew, Shawn and probably Jon. The ones I don't even care to look at again are Lill or Christa. I could care less about those two.

Scotti: Darrah, how often were you individually interviewed?
Darrah: Oh, all day...I mean, they take us off all during the day anywhere from five and ten minutes. Except for the last day I was voted off, I was gone for half the day. I think it was intentional. I was gone and interviewed more than any of the other ones that day.

kellb: Darrah, have you ever tried out for other Survivor seasons?
Darrah: No, this was the first one I tried out for, and I got picked.

luvSurvivor: If you could create a challenge for the next group of Survivors, what would it be?
Darrah: I don't know what it'd be but I know it'd be physical instead of mental. [laughs] Any kind of physical challenge over a mental challenge.

dett: Darrah, what made you want to be a mortician?
Darrah: Growing up I always wanted to be a nurse and everyone was going to be a nurse, so I thought I'd do something more interesting. I went to school for that, but I couldn't find a full time job in Mississippi so that's why I'm going back to school.

sandrarox: Darrah, which Survivor series would you have liked to have been on other than Pearl Islands?
Darrah: Outback. I just liked the atmosphere of the Outback, with all the different animals and the wilderness. I like all that sort of stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like the Pearl Island but if I had to pick another one, that's what it'd be.

chickindasouth16: Other then yourself, who is one person you would have liked to see win a million dollars?
Darrah: I would have to say Sandra, because I think she needed the money. Her or Rupert. If I had to pick someone besides myself, I'd say Sandra or Rupert.

DarrahRocks: Darrah, what happened to the shower stuff after y'all merged?
Darrah: We took it with us to the merge. We actually used it a pretty good bit but they never showed us out there using the soap and shampoo but everyone used it so we did get to take it with us.

chickindasouth16: Who was your least favorite Survivor castmate of all time?
Darrah: I would have to say probably Christa being that I was out there with her. I'm not sure how the other ones out there were considering what they show. I'd have to say Christa because we just didn't click.

GoDarrah: What was your initial impression of Rupert and how did it change as you grew to know him and then eventually see him on the show afterwards?
Darrah: I liked Rupert. I didn't get to know him that well. He was only out there not too much longer after I got there. I thought that his tribemates were pretty much scared of him and that's why they didn't vote him off. I think they kept him around because he got the food. I didn't think he needed to get all that food because we were out there starving and we made it. Rupert is a good guy. He looks like a scary man but he's really like a big teddy bear and he'd do absolutely anything for anybody...except maybe for Jon.

taylorangel: Does this game ever get to the point that the money is no longer on your mind and you're there for other reasons?
Darrah: Yeah, of course the money's on your mind, because that's what you're there for. It never really leave your mind...except sometimes because you're having a good time with these people who have become your friends. Yeah, sometimes the money leaves your mind and sometimes it doesn't.

JonJack: What did you think of Jonny Jackass running around naked?
Darrah: [laughs] He was drunk when he did that. I didn't see it because it was before the merge. I thought it was kind of funny because he weighs about a hundred pounds. That's just how he is--I wasn't shocked by it.

QuinntheEskimo: After the food providers left. how well did you eat in the last few days?
Darrah: We ate just fine. We had tons of mussels, and it wasn't any different after Burton left. We didn't have any fish. We were living off of rice and beans anyway so I was used to it.

BigBertha: With Jon trying to look for someone to punch him, would you have loved for Rupert to hit him?
Darrah: [laughs] Actually, yeah, I would have liked to have seen Rupert hit him. It would've been funny. Rupert's smarter than that because if you hit somebody you get kicked off, but it would have been funny and I think half of the viewers would have loved it.

chickindasouth16: Did any of your opions of people change after you saw the show?
Darrah: No, not really. Not at all. The way that they were shown was how I knew them out there. I didn't have any opinions change at all.

FireyRedTU: Darrah, what was your impression of Osten and how he was scared of practically everything?
Darrah: [laughs] I thought it was kind of funny--this big, huge guy is scared of itty bitty pelicans and every time the wind would blow at night and the trees would move he thought something was coming out of the woods. It was funny, but he was just a funny type of guy.

kissitjon: Were most people playing a part for the camera, or were they playing themselves?
Darrah: I think everybody was playing for the camera. I know the way I was playing out there is not how I am in real life. I was a bit quieter and I didn't want to be the one whose name was brought up all the time for getting into it with somebody. Normally I speak my mind, but I didn't out there because I didn't want to get voted off. I guess it helped...laying low and staying under the radar is what got me further.

JEFFisHOT: Darrah, what was the biggest surprise to you while watching the show?
Darrah: The biggest surprise ever was that Burton won the truck. The Outcasts...Burton won a truck, Lill came in second...it's funny how it worked out. That was probably the biggest surprise of all.

AmberRose: Hey D! Overall, was this a good experience? If you could do it again, would you?
Darrah: Yeah, this is the best experience I ever had and would do it again if I had the chance. I probably wouldn't change anything at all and play the game the same way. I'd definitely do it again.

vancityboy: So what appearances are coming up for you--where can we see more of you?
Darrah: I don't know of any appearances right now. Maybe in the future, but I can't really say what I'm going to be on right now because I haven't heard yet.

SURVIVOR Host: I am sorry to say that our hour with Darrah is up. Darrah, thanks so much for being here to chat with us today, and congratulations on finishing in the final four. Do you have any final comments for the SURVIVOR fans?
Darrah: Thanks for being my fans and thanks for the support. I love you all.

Survivorcrazy: Darrah....we here in the Bahamas love you...take care!

Scooterrific: Good Luck Darrah...the Coal Miners love you!
