Biography

A graduate of Yale University, Kranz played a series of memorable roles in feature films including, "The Night of the White Pants," "Don't Fade Away," "Shades of Ray," "Wieners," "Careless," "Bickford Schmeckler's Cool Ideas," "Rise: Blood Hunter," "The Village," "Matchstick Men," "Orange County," "Training Day" and "Donnie Darko."

He also has extensive theatre credits including "Twelfth Night," "Angels in America," "A Bright Room Called Day," "Henry IV Part I," "Sideman," "Antony & Cleopatra" and "The Dining Room." At a guest program at Oxford, he won Best Actor for his portrayal of 'Petruchio' in "The Taming of the Shrew."

Kranz currently resides in Los Angeles. His birthday is July 13.
