Jeffrey Tambor
Biography
Jeffrey Tambor was born and raised San Francisco where he stayed to study his craft at San Francisco State University. He went on to complete his Masters degree in theatre arts at Wayne State University where he became a member of the Hilberry Classic Theatre.
On television he has starred in the hit series' "The Larry Sanders Show" and the critically-acclaimed and Emmy Award-winning "Arrested Development," for which he received two Emmy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy. As well, he had a reoccurring role on "Three's Company," which earned him a co-starring role on the spin-off "The Ropers."
Tambor just wrapped production on "Hellboy 2" and "Superhero," which will be released in 2008. His other feature film credits include "Hellboy," "Never Again," "Pollack," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Girl Interrupted," "Meet Joe Black," "Dr. Doolittle," "There's Something About Mary," "City Slickers" and "Mr. Mom," among others.
Tambor has appeared on stage in the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of "Glengarry Glen Ross."
He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. Tambor's birthday is July 8.
