Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Chris currently lives in Nashville. He attended Vanderbilt University and spent seven months studying abroad in Perth, Australia. At 23, he opened his own restaurant and, although he has no professional design experience, he is determined to prove that great designers can be found in unexpected places. Chris is an athlete and enjoys competing in triathlons. His hero is his father, who he says leads by example with integrity, a great work ethic and the knowledge that nothing in life is more important than love.
