Mr. Hilfiger addresses the losing Studio 54 team and criticizes them for not paying attention to the authentic details of Studio 54. He then requests that Julie and Chris S. step into the pit. When Mr. Hilfiger tells Julie that, "in this business you have to learn to deal with and respect all different types of people from different backgrounds," she agrees.

Mr. Hilfiger then turns to Chris S., who takes responsibility for the Studio 54 team's project. "My name is on a lot of what happened with the final product," he admits. This concerns Mr. Hilfiger. "When I was in that club, I did not feel the vibe or the image of Studio 54. If you're going to take credit for the overall vision, then you're ultimately responsible for its success or its failure. Chris, you're out of style. Take the runway."

While making his exit, Chris S. confesses, "I'm very shocked right now. I did not expect to get cut tonight. I kept my integrity and that's what's important to me."

Mr. Hilfiger has a final thought for the remaining designers. "I'll be honest, I'm disappointed at some of what I've heard this evening," he says. "I won't tolerate it."
