Kirin is the perfect housewife who, at first glance, has everything a girl could want. But, upon further review, Kirin is desperate to break out of her day-to-day routine. This 31-year-old mother of two spent her adolescent years with a low self-esteem, yet blossomed to became a professional model, a job which she held for 16 years.
Kirin, who spends time as a motivational speaker to young girls in her area, is adamant that her children be raised with a high self-esteem so they don't have the same struggles she did growing up.
Putting her family first for the better part of her 20s, Kirin is ready to "find herself" in her 30s. As she and her husband, Alan, who runs a successful naturopathic medical practice, approach their 10 year anniversary, Kirin is eager to reinvigorate their marriage and spend more time focusing on their relationship.
Kirin wishes that her husband would put more time and passion into their relationship and less time into his hobbies, which include motorcycles, mountain bikes and rock climbing.
Kirin is desperate to feel loved and turns to her pals at her Tuesday Night Book Club for a distraction from the pressures of being the perfect wife.
