Mushroom Asparagus Soup
Ingredients
6 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cup cooked farfalle pasta
1/2 pound chopped asparagus
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
3 teaspoons bacon drippings
grated Parmesan
salt and pepper
1. Put all the ingredients, except the drippings and pasta, into the soup pot.
2. Boil rapidly for about 10 minutes.
3. Reduce the heat and add the drippings.
4.Cover and simmer for about 1 hour.
5. Add cooked pasta and simmer for ten minutes.
5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
6. Garnish with grated Parmesan and fresh parsley.
