1. Cut the fabric into squares 12"x16" and place two pieces on top of each other wrong side out.
2. Pin the fabric in place on three sides. Fold each piece of fabric over 1" on the fourth side.
3. Stitch the bag on all four sides. Be careful not to sew up the opening on the fourth side.
4. Feed a ribbon through the hem of the bag for a closure.

The gift bags themselves are great for dust covers for shoes or purses. It’s a gift that keeps on giving!
