Postcard Tray

Materials
wooden frame-10" x 20" with three 5" x 7" openings (Sears had a great selection of these frames)
staple gun
three vintage postcards or photos
velvet
fabric glue
raffia-covered wire (two 18" pieces)

1. Place the postcards or photos in the picture frame.
2. Fold the raffia-covered wire into three six
inch pieces and twist the three pieces together. Bend the twisted wire into the shape of a C for a handle. 3. Staple the handles to the back of the short sides of the picture frame.
4. Cover the bottom of the tray with velvet to protect furniture.

The tray makes a great gift for family members. Place photos of the grand kids or children's artwork under the glass. You can also create theme trays with a collage of pressed flowers or ticket stubs and souvenirs from a vacation.
