Supplies:
½ yard black silk
½ yard cream silk
2 yards 2" - 3" ribbon
photo frame with mirror to fit frame or framed mirror
6 inch pillar candle
cream colored heavyweight cardstock
cream or black all purpose thread
needle
fusible web (optional)

fabric scissors
measuring tape
sewing machine
iron
calligraphy pen

Directions 1. Cut an 18" x 24" piece from the black silk fabric and the cream silk fabric.
Note: The cut size of the fabric pieces can vary depending on the amount of fabric available or the size of the framed mirror and candle. To estimate size for fabric pieces place framed mirror flat with candle on top in the center of available fabric. Bring fabric up and around mirror and candle and gather at the top. Take note and cut off extra fabric. This should be an ample amount of fabric to make the wrap.

2. Place fabric with right sides together and sew using a standard stitch length leaving a 5/8" seam allowance. If the silk begins to pucker adjust stitch length to a longer setting. Stitch around the perimeter leaving a 4" - 6" section unsewn. Use this opening to turn the fabric piece right side out. Press the fabric. Be careful to use the appropriate heat setting on the iron. Press the seam allowances of the opening to the inside. Note: Fusible Web can be used to adhere the two pieces of fabric.

3. With needle and thread use a blind stitch to close the opening. Note: Fusible web can be used to close the opening.

Now the fabric gift-wrap is finished!

4. Lay the fabric wrap on a flat surface. Place the framed mirror in the center then place the candle on top of the mirror. Gather the fabric up around the mirror and candle. Secure the fabric with ribbon by tying it into a bow.

5. Cut cream-colored cardstock into desired shape to be used as a tag. Write quote on tag and attach to the ribbon.
Note: A calligraphy pen can be used when writing the quote.
