Gift Box

Materials
chocolate brown velvet
lime green silk
gift box
lime green flat braided trim
straight pins

Tools
fabric scissors
pinking sheers
glue gun and glue sticks
sewing machine
tape

Directions
1. Use the brown velvet to wrap the gift box using standard gift-wrapping techniques. Use tape and straight pins to secure the fabric.
2. Hot glue lime green flat braided trim on edges of box and fabric flaps. This will hide any straight pins.
3. Use pinking sheers to cut lime green silk into three 2" x 36" strips. Hand gather or use the sewing machine to gather one long side of each fabric strip. Then roll each strip of silk to resemble a flower. Once the strip is rolled, sew the gathered edge to keep the flower from unrolling.
4. Use hot glue to attach the three flowers to the top of the box.
