American Outdoor Party Favor

I tried to come up with a party favor that that our guests would look back on fondly long after the party had ended. I knew a decorative pool towel would make a splash, so I purchased pool-sized towels, coordinating fabric and some fun trim. I cut the fabric in a 4-inch strip and I sewed it on the bottom of the towel and then added the trim. I rolled the towel and instead of tying it with a traditional ribbon, used a candy necklace. I thought it gave the package a more playful twist and the colors tied in perfectly. I attached a squirt gun because what pool party is complete without a squirt gun? Finally, I made a tag that resembled a thong sandal and wrote a little message that said, "Chicken Fight! Thanks for coming to our pool party. You made it a big splash."
