Bed & Breakfast Wreath

Our challenge was to make a wreath using only the organic materials that were provided. Oddly enough, the toughest part wasn't designing the wreath but making a base strong enough to support all the fruit. I started by cutting a piece of cardboard in the shape of a giant donut. (Because I like donuts more than I should, this shape was a familiar one.) I then cut and glued the red sticks to the base and coupled them with sliced lemons and cranberries. I was going for a red and yellow look. I went to the Rock Garden with this little masterpiece but I made it back into the house. The moral of this story is when life hands you lemons, don't make a wreath with them.
