Sour Cream Apple Pie

Ingredients
9-inch pie crust
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 cups sliced apples

Topping
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup cold butter cubed


Refrigerate pie shell until needed. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, beat egg slightly. Add sugar, sour cream, flour, vanilla, and salt. Mix well. Add sliced apples and toss to coat. Place apples in the pie shell. Bake for 30 minutes until tender. Meanwhile, make the topping. Mix brown sugar and 2 tablespoons flour together. Cut in butter. Sprinkle on top of pie. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees. Bake 15 minutes or longer until bubbly.
