Silk Flower Pillow

two 18 inch square pieces of silk fabric
two18 inch long pieces of ribbon
pre-made 16 inch square pillow
sewing machine
needle and thread
ribbon flower poppy brooch

Using a sewing machine, sew one strip of ribbon to one of the silk squares. Sew the other piece of ribbon on the same square but in the opposite direction. Place the squares together so the good sides face each other. Sew the pillow closed on all four sides, leaving a large enough opening to accept the pillow when finished. Turn the pillow cover inside out (so the good sides face you) and stuff the pillow through the opening. Hand stitch the opening closed. Where the two ribbons meet on the front of the pillow, attach the ribbon poppy.
