Flavored Butter

1 1/2 cups butter, at room temperature
1 cup of the best quality strawberry preserves you can find

Place the butter in a work bowl of an electric mixer and beat on high until light and fluffy. Add the preserves and beat until well combined. To serve, pipe the butter using a pastry bag (fitted with a star tip) into individual ramekins. If you do not have a pastry bag, spoon the butter into the ramekins and use the back of the knife blade to smoothly level the butter in the dish. Serve at room temperature.

You may use other fruit preserves if you wish; just be sure to leave out any extra large pieces of fruit that sometimes appear in preserves. Alternatively, you can use honey in place of preserves and add a touch of cinnamon if you wish.
