1) To enter: The sweepstakes begins Noon ET on 1/6/05 and ends 1:00 PM ET on 3/6/05 ("promotion period"). To enter this sweepstakes visit the CBS Web site at http://www.cbs.com anytime during the promotion period, navigate to the Wickedly Perfect site, and complete the "Guess Who's Coming to Make Dinner" Sweepstakes online entry form. Once you have completed the information requested, click on "submit" to enter. Entrants must accurately complete entire online entry form, including daytime phone number, and successfully submit same in order to be entered into drawing. The use of automated or third party entry software is prohibited. Limit one entry per eligible person/e-mail address. Entries submitted subsequent to an entrant's first entry are void. By entering, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless CBS Broadcasting Inc., General Motors Corporation their respective parent companies and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies, including Marden-Kane, and all of their respective employees, directors, officers, shareholders & agents, and the person designated as the "Wickedly Perfect" winner (collectively, "Releasees") from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind, including death or loss of property, arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or acceptance or use or misuse of any prize awarded (including, without limitation, any travel or activity related thereto). Releasees assume no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error or technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures unauthorized access of any computer or telephone equipment or software, or any combination thereof. Entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be returned. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
2) Prize Drawing and Notification: A random drawing to select a potential grand prize winner will be conducted on or about March 7, 2005 under the supervision of Marden-Kane Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Using only the daytime telephone numbers and corresponding entrant names on eligible entries, Marden-Kane will attempt to contact a potential grand prize winner by telephone beginning March 7, 2005 on or about 11:00 AM ET. Any subsequent call attempts will continue until a potential grand prize winner is contacted. No voicemail or answering machine messages will be left. Successful telephone notification will be followed by written confirmation via overnight mail and/or facsimile. The potential grand prize winner (or if minor in the potential grand prize winner's jurisdiction of residence, his/her parent/legal guardian) will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and where legal, a publicity release and return same, properly executed via fax within 24 hours of issuance followed by the properly executed documents returned to Marden-Kane via overnight mail using supplied, pre-paid mailer. Failure by the potential winner to respond or return documents as specified, or if prize notification forms are returned as undeliverable the entry will be disqualified and if time allows, an alternate winner selected. Grand Prize event will be videotaped by a production entity designated by Sponsors ("Producer"), and videotape may be broadcast online or in any other media at the sole discretion of the Sponsors. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsors and their designees to use the name, address and video and/or film taken of the Grand Prize winner and guests for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. Odds of winning depend upon number of eligible entries received.
3) Prize: One (1) Grand Prize: A Wickedly Perfect Dinner Party (the "Dinner Party"). Prize consists of a dinner party prepared by the winner of the CBS series "Wickedly Perfect" for the Grand Prize winner and up to 20 guests. The Dinner Party will be held at the winner's home or at a location chosen by Sponsors, as near to the winner's home as reasonably available. Prize does not include any transportation to or from the Dinner Party for Grand Prize winner or guests. Included in the Dinner Party is food and non-alcoholic beverage for up to 21 persons as solely determined by Sponsors. No alcoholic beverages will be served at this Dinner Party. If less than 21 people attend the Dinner Party no reimbursement for those unattended guests will be provided. Date of Dinner Party is currently scheduled for one evening during the weekend of March 18, 2005. Length of Dinner Party will be determined prior to event and is subject to Sponsors'/Producer's approval. Actual date of Dinner Party is at the sole discretion of Sponsors' and Producer's production schedules. Winner will receive less than 10 days notice prior to Dinner Party. If for any reason the Grand Prize winner cannot accept the Dinner Party on a date specified by the Sponsors, the Sponsors shall have no further obligation to the Grand Prize winner and guests and an alternate winner may be selected. Estimated retail value of grand prize is $4,200. Actual value may vary based on Dinner Party location and amenities offered. Specifics of prize are at Sponsors' sole discretion. Prize is non-transferable; no substitutions or cash awards allowed, except at the discretion of the Sponsors in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute the cash value of prize for the Dinner Party at Sponsors' discretion. Complete terms and conditions of Dinner Party will be furnished to Grand Prize winner with prize notification. All other expenses relating to acceptance of Grand Prize not explicitly stated herein are the responsibility of Grand Prize winner and guests. If, for any reason, the Dinner Party is unable to take place as planned, Sponsors reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to award a prize of equal or greater value, in lieu of the Dinner Party. Dinner party guests (or parent/legal guardian if guest is a minor) must sign and return a publicity release (unless prohibited) and liability release prior to entering the Dinner Party. If a minor is selected to attend the Dinner Party, the minor's parent/legal guardian will be required to accompany him/her to the Dinner Party and will count as one of the guests. Sponsors and/or Producer reserve the right to restrict any guest from entering the Dinner Party at their sole discretion. Grand Prize winner must agree to have the Dinner Party on the date determined by Sponsor. All guests must agree to attend the Dinner Party at the location, time and date specified by Sponsors. If the Dinner Party is held in Grand Prize winner's home, Grand Prize winner agrees to give Producer (and promotional partners) access to his/her place of residence during the week of the Dinner Party for planning purposes. Grand Prize winner also agrees to give Producer (and promotional partners) complete access to his/her place of residence before the Dinner Party, during and immediately following the Dinner Party.
4) Internet: If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, the Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Should this promotion be terminated the Sponsors reserve the right to select winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the action requiring such termination. Releasees are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Sponsors on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
5) Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry, except employees or agents of the Sponsors and their parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, dealers, affiliates, advertising agencies, & members of their immediate families. Void in Puerto Rico and wherever prohibited. Subject to all applicable federal, state & local laws & regulations. U.S. law governs this sweepstakes.
