The Untitled Jean-Luc Picard Star Trek Series Casts Two Series Regulars

Santiago Cabrera And Michelle Hurd will join Sir Patrick Stewart in CBS All Access's upcoming Star Trek series.

CBS All Access announced Sir Patrick Stewart will be joined by actors Santiago Cabrera and Michelle Hurd as series regulars in the forthcoming Star Trek series.

Santiago Cabrera recently starred for two seasons on the CBS suspense thriller Salvation, and was in HBO's Big Little Lies opposite Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman. Cabrera's other television credits include the role of Aramis in the BBC series The Musketeers, as well as The Mindy Project, Merlin, Heroes, and the HBO television movie Hemingway and Gellhorn, opposite Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen.

Michelle Hurd garnered attention for her role as Shepherd on NBC's hit drama Blindspot and was recently seen on FOX's action crime series Lethal Weapon. Hurd can also be seen in the Starz's horror comedy Ash Vs. Evil Dead, as well as the Marvel Universe series Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

The new Jean-Luc Picard Star Trek series will explore the next chapter in the life of Captain Picard beyond what we've seen in seven seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation and four feature films.

The series will air exclusively on CBS All Access in the United States and will be distributed concurrently internationally by CBS Studios International.
