The engineers at the University of Colorado are putting together the world's smallest supersonic, unmanned ariel drone (not pictured, obviously). It measures a mere 7-feet-by-5-feet (roughly the size of a really, really large human), and weighs only 22 pounds (110 with fuel). One of the team's top goals is to set a new speed record—and develop the technology for military use.
Thinking you might want to avoid robots for awhile? You might want to get a head start. Now.
