A Fair Warning
In honor of Penny and Leonard's engagement, the girls got together to celebrate over a refreshing glass of Chardonnay. But before they got the chance to discuss any of the details, Bernadette started ranting about her relationship with Howard's mother, warning Penny that marriage doesn't just mean saying "yes" to Leonard; it also means agreeing to wed his entire family.
Undetered by Bernadette's warning, Penny actually saw this as an opportunity to ease her friend's stress and offered to help take care of Howard's mother.
Both women gathered some pearls of wisdom from the conversation: Bernie didn't have to carry the burden of her mother-in-law alone, and Penny learned marriage wouldn't be as easy as it looked on TV.
