Season 14: Episode 6 - Episode 6

Episode 6: While the announcement from Allison Grodner told the house guests that Willie had been removed from the game, it also said that the game would continue on. Shane is worried after hearing about Willie's departure; he knows that his alliance with the former house guest makes him the biggest target now. Frank also knows that this event changes things for him in terms of nominations; he has to nominate someone else besides Willie. In the HOH room Boogie tries to set a plan in motion to back door Shane but neither Janelle nor Jenn like the plan; Frank does think it might be a good idea though. JoJo is worried along with Shane that she might be the next on the block too. In hopes of swaying what he might be thinking, she goes to Frank to plead her case but he tells her that things are how they are because of her bad decisions.

Frank calls the house guests in from the yard to start the nomination ceremony, after all the keys have been claimed, the only two left without one are Shane and JoJo. This comes as no surprise to Shane who was expecting to be put up the moment he found out that Willie had been removed from the house but he plans to fight to win the POV. Boogie is trying to plan ahead when he tells Frank to get close to Shane and JoJo this week, one of them will survive the eviction and he doesn't want them coming after Frank if they were to win HOH in the future. Later that day Frank invites everyone to the living room to announce he players for the Veto competition who are: Frank, Shane, JoJo, Ian, Ashley, Wil and Joe will be the host. Dan wanted Danielle to get picked because he says if she gets put on the block he will be going home along with her. Danielle is disappointed when she finds out that she won't get to play because she knows if Shane or JoJo win the POV they will take themselves off the block and she will be the next one nominated because she's the last person left on Dan's team.

While Ashley is hanging out in the bathroom telling the other house guests about her ideal man Joe enters the house dressed in a poncho and a big sombrero. He invites everyone to the backyard to play the Veto competition. While the coaches get to watch the game and sip margaritas, the competitors come into the yard dressed as giant tortilla chips. They are told they will have to sift through three giant bowls of dip to find the names of menu items. They must collect all the different menu items and match their menu layout to the master one at the other side of the yard. The player to do this in the fastest amount of time with the most correct answers wins the POV. After a messy, slippery competition the winner is Shane.

Shane is so excited he dives into one of the bowls of dip and Britney jumps in after him to share in the celebration. Later that day he meets with Boogie and Frank in the HOH room later and apologizes for ruining their eviction plan but Shane then tells Frank and Boogie that he would like to work with them. He says he likes his coach but he is playing this game for himself, Boogie tells Shane not to tell anyone about this meeting and Shane agrees not to. Meanwhile in the have-not room Danielle is talking to Dan who tells her that he can't help her at this point because he doesn't want to be the reason she gets evicted. She feels like she is being abandoned by her coach but sees an opportunity to talk to Shane when he walks into the room. Shane tells her he isn't sure what he is going to do when the voting comes up and whether or not he will vote in favor of JoJo. Danielle gets upset and heads to the game room where she begins to cry.

Later, Shane talks to JoJo where he tells her his plan to save himself and ask Frank to put Wil on the block, he plans to talk to Frank the following day. He does just that the following morning in the yard and tells Frank that if he puts Wil on the block he will have the support of JoJo and himself going forward. Shane brings everyone inside for Veto meeting where he announces that he will use the POV on himself, Frank then decides to nominate Danielle. He later explains that it is too early to put Wil on the block and rock the boat. Danielle says that she has to depend on herself but will fight to stay in the house. Boogie is very happy as he realizes that he now has three players in the final eight.
