Casey Makes an Explosive Exit from the House!: After finding himself on the nomination block, a banana-suit-wearing Casey is stunned to find the house so calm. The plan was to back door Ronnie, but Jessie had other ideas. "I looked around and didn’t see any outrage,” Casey fumes. "Didn’t we have a plan? Teflon Ron strikes again! That dude is like a cat—nine lives.”
Predictably, Ronnie is ecstatic. "Awesome, amazing,” he yells. "Ron lives again in the BIG BROTHER house. One more week, sucker!” As seems to always be the case, Jeff once again says he doesn’t know what is going on in the House. For his part, Jessie is perfectly fine with his decision. He sees Casey as a bigger threat to his game than Ron. Period.
Outside, Jordan tells Casey about her testy exchange with Ronnie as the Veto Ceremony came to an end, and about how Ronnie gave her a knowing smirk. "I wanted so bad to tell him off,” Jordan says. "The only reason you are still here is because you are Jessie’s bitch.” Jeff comes out and wants to know why Jessie felt the need to wear sunglasses and be so flippant in putting Casey up on the block. "You’re wearing a banana suit,” Jeff tells Casey, implying that Casey is humiliated enough without the added sting of Jessie’s lame zinger.
Creeping LydiaWhile Jessie snoozes, Lydia creeps into the HoH Suite to watch him snore. She stares longingly at Jessie while he sleeps. She wonders if Jessie is dreaming about baby unicorns or riding his motorcycle, but admits "it would be nice if he was dreaming about me.” She then notes that she hopes Jessie doesn’t make her mad because, while he sleeps, she could get revenge. Creepy!
Meanwhile, the game is in high gear across the house. Perennial pawn Jordan decides to lay low and just let Casey get himself in trouble. Casey tries to garner support from Kevin by warning him that everyone is becoming a pawn in Jessie’s game. Kevin would love for Casey to stay, because he would probably be a "vicious dog on the attack.” Casey decides to make a play for Russell. Casey tells him that, in his current alliance, Russell is "number four” in the pecking order, behind Jessie, Natalie and Ronnie. Casey asks Russell what Jessie’s deal is with Ronnie, and Russell admits he doesn’t know. Why not shake it up, Casey asks? Russell notes that Casey has made some good points. Shaking up the vote this week could be a "huge gamble that could pay off,” he says.
When Jeff Met JordanJeff and Jordan sure are flirty and affectionate in the House, so what do their respective families think about their potential showmance? Even though Jordan repeatedly tells the other girls in the House that she sees Jeff as just a friend, her mother and grandfather in the rural hamlet of Shawneetown wonder if Jeff could possibly be the one for Jordan. In the fast-moving metropolis of Chicago, Jeff’s mom, Mary, notes that Jeff and Jordan appear to be "cut from the same cloth.” Jordan’s mom, Jackie, reveals that Jordan had her heart broken, so that may be why she is a little cautious with Jeff. In a revealing little moment out on the patio, Jordan wonders why Jeff is carrying her along in the game. Jeff tells her that Jordan does so much for his game, because she brings a smile to his face every day. Jeff’s mother, Mary, thinks that just might be the reason that Jeff was meant to be in the BIG BROTHER House—to meet someone special like Jordan. "They would make pretty babies,” Jordan’s mom muses!
Host Julie Chen then checks in with the House Guests, who are gathered in the Living Room. Julie wants to know how Casey’s banana suit is. Casey keeps it good-natured, and says it makes it easy to pick out what to wear every day. Julie then turns to Lydia, and asks her what her tension with Natalie is all about. Lydia stammers and says their drama over the beds last week was nothing more than a conflict about—beds. When Julie turns her eye to Natalie, she too says that there is nothing going on. Jessie looks on uncomfortably. When Julie prods, Natalie merely smiles and says she doesn’t know while Lydia pleads the Fifth!
Julie continues the interrogation up in the HoH Suite where she asks Jessie about his House love triangle. He snorts out a terse "not true” when Julie asks if Lydia and Natalie are fighting over him! Jessie worries that he may be getting played by both of the gals, but refuses to reveal which one he would want to have with him on a desert island.
Time for the Eviction!Jordan is up first to plead her case. She gives the standard pitch for votes, but things get interesting when Casey, the banana man, gets up for his turn to plead for votes one last time. He calls Ronnie a "manipulative dork-a-pottamus” with a "God complex,” while he lays into Jessie for being a "self-absorbed egomaniac” with the "collective I.Q. of, ironically, a banana.” He pleads with the House Guests not to be mindless sheep and to use the anonymity of the Diary Room to cast the right vote and not just do what they are told to do. Jessie does not look happy, and Ronnie looks positively peeved!
Jeff’s vote is no surprise—he opts to evict Casey, Ronnie then votes, saying that he is gladly voting to evict the "hypocritical mid-life-crisis having” Casey, who Natalie calls a "bitter banana” in her eviction vote. Everyone else votes to evict Casey, except for Russell, who says that he is going to stick to his word and vote out Jordan!
On his way out the door, Casey takes the opportunity to stick it to Jessie one more time. Jessie tells him that he deserves what he gets when Natalie feels the need to chime in. "Ain’t nobody talking to you, pit bull,” Casey snaps back, as Natalie keeps yapping.
After some more heated exchanges, Casey is finally out of the house. As Casey exits and finds his seat next to Julie, Julie notes that Casey let himself be played by Ronnie. Casey cops to this, but also notes that people have short memories in the house.
A Change Comes the BIG BROTHER HouseJulie tells the House Guests there is change in the air. After 26 days of playing in cliques, tonight is "graduation.” The cliques no longer exist, so everyone is playing for themselves. With every ending there is a new beginning. Julie tells the House Guests that there is a soon-to-be granted mystery power. For the next two weeks, one player will have the opportunity to change the course of the game, but that person must keep their secret until the moment it can be used in the live show. So who gets this amazing power? America gets to choose!
Julie tells the audience that the House Guests are going to experience a "coup d'etat,” in which one lucky House Guest, picked by America, will have the power to "overthrow” the Head of Household and to replace one or both of the nominees and put up two new House Guests for eviction.
‘Round and ‘Round They Go…Time for this week’s HoH Competition! Jessie is ineligible, but the rest of the remaining House Guests take a seat on a graduation cap swing and are hoisted up in the Back Yard. The rules are simple—the last one hanging on is the new HoH. Upon disqualification, the first five disqualified House Guests will choose one of five wrapped "graduation presents,” one of which contains a $5,000 prize!
This one looks like it might last a while, even as everyone starts spinning around on their swings. Things get downright tough when the spinning House Guests get hurled into a huge foam diploma! To make matters worse, Julie announces that their graduation party has been "rained out” and, with that, a cold rain shower begins in the backyard. Who will be the next Head of Household? And who will get the power of coup d'etat? Find out Sunday, August 2 at 8pm ET/PT on BIG BROTHER on CBS!
