You might think that a chat with a lawyer and a man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend would be, well, tense; but Dulé Hill and Steven Pasquale are here to prove you wrong.
The stars of CBS' new drama Doubt, which premieres on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 10/9c on CBS and CBS All Access, sat down to discuss their characters and what it's like to work together on set.

Doubt follows the lives of Billy Brennan (Pasquale), a charming pediatric surgeon accused of killing his girlfriend 24 years ago, and the esteemed lawyers at Roth & Associates, like Albert Cobb (Hill), who are tasked with representing him.
"[My character] believes in the rule of law," Hill said. "I believe in what's right, in really fighting against the government, and standing up for your principles."
Though Hill's character has grown accustomed to a certain level of professionalism at Roth & Associates, things get complicated when his close friend and colleague, Sadie Ellis (Katherine Heigl), starts to fall for their client, Billy.
Lucky for Hill, he's never been enticed by the same kind of criminal love in real life.
"I have never flirted with any dangerous relationships at all," he said while Pasquale laughed. "If it ain't right... nope, nope, nope."
How will Billy and Albert navigate the troubled waters between love and the law? And how will Sadie balance her relationships with each of the important men in her life?
