Born in Caracas, Venezuela to a Cuban mother and Venezuelan father, Majandra Delfino divided her time between Caracas and Miami before permanently moving to Los Angeles as a teenager. Between the ages of 10 and 13, Delfino danced in the Miami Ballet’s “Nutcracker” while competing in the local “Youth’s Classical Music” competition. At 11 years old, Delfino, her best friend, Alana Chirino, daughter of Cuban salsa singer Willy Chirino, and her sister Nicole and their good friend Samantha Gibb, daughter of Bee Gees Maurice Gibb, joined an all-girls singing quartet named China Doll. After opening for the Bee Gees at a benefit concert in Miami Beach, Delfino was cast for the feature film ”Zeus and Roxanne.” Within three months of wrapping the film, she landed the role of Tony Danza’s daughter on “The Tony Danza Show.” Delfino’s other feature film credits include “Life as We Know It” and “Traffic.” Her additional television credits include the role of Maria DeLuca on “Roswell,” “State of Georgia” and “The Office.” Delfino is married with two young children.
