Before you dive into the turkey on Thanksgiving, we've got some special news for you!

Award-winning host of The Late Late Show James Corden will host the GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017—and we couldn't be more thankful.

This marks the first year that the "Carpool Karaoke" singer will be the master of ceremonies for Music's Biggest Night®, which will broadcast live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT.

"I am truly honored to be hosting the GRAMMYs next year," said Corden in a press release. "It's the biggest, most prestigious award show in music, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an incredible night."

Throughout his career, Corden has proven himself to be a man of many talents both on stage and on screen—from receiving a Tony Award for his performance in One Man, Two Guvnors on Broadway to winning a BAFTA Television Award for his comedy Gavin & Stacey.

"James Corden is a captivating host, and I have no doubt that his musical background, personal charm, and comedic instincts will resonate with our audience," said Executive Producer of the GRAMMY Awards Ken Ehrlich. "For the past five years, we've been fortunate to have had LL COOL J host our show, and I trust that James will bring the same professionalism and charisma to Music's Biggest Night®."

Though he's new to the GRAMMY stage, Corden is no stranger to hosting award shows. Earlier this year, he hosted The 70th Annual Tony Awards, which had its largest audience in 15 years. Additionally, he's hosted England's BRIT Awards four times.

"James Corden's remarkable range of talents makes him a star on any screen and every stage," said Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President, Specials, Music, And Live Events, CBS Entertainment. "We see it every night on CBS, every day on YouTube, and audiences are still talking about his acclaimed performance hosting the Tony's last June. We look forward to bringing James' exceptional showmanship, infectious energy, and his undeniable kinship with music the to GRAMMY stage."
