Pierre Boulez with 26 GRAMMY Awards
This French composer, conductor, writer, and pianist played a key role in the development of integral serialism, controlled chance, and electronic music. Structures, the most visible of his serialized works, was a huge turning point in this musical genius' career. Installing a variety of parameters of his pieces' constructions rather than only pitch, Boulez helped send the musical world into discovery and use of different instrumental dynamics.
Pierre Boulez, known as a "keystone of 20th century music," is the only artist to currently hold a total of 26 GRAMMY Awards.
