Solange weathers the storm with "Cranes In The Sky."
This standout number from Solange's third album A Seat at the Table sounds delicate and pretty, but its subject matter is anything but.
She sings of escapism, admitting that she tried to relieve her pain with alcohol, sex, music, and any other vices she could find.
Eventually, though, she shook free, found herself, and came out the other side stronger. Exactly what you'd expect from a Knowles woman and exactly the reason why "Cranes In The Sky" is nominated for Best R&B Performance.
