Currently Sandrine Holt stars in "House of Cards," where she plays Gillian Cole, the passionate leader of a grass roots organization. Additional television credits include Canadian action series "Once a Thief." She has also had recurring roles on "24," "The L Word" and "Las Vegas" and has guest starred on THE MENTALIST, on the Network, and "Bored to Death" and "ER." Holt began her career starring in the feature film "Black Robe," for which she earned a Prix Genie Award nomination. This led to Kevin Costner casting her for the female lead in "Rapa Nui." She co-starred in "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," with Mila Jovovich, the French film "Chinese Puzzle" with Audrey Tatou, and appeared as Kate Beckinsale’s co-star in "Underworld: Awakening." Born in England and raised in Canada, she is the daughter of a French mother and a Chinese father. Currently she lives in Los Angeles. Her birthday is Nov. 19.
