Jason Segel broke out in feature films by having top-billing in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," which he starred in and wrote, and for his role in the film "Knocked Up." Segel's other feature film credits include "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny," "Slackers," "Can't Hardly Wait," "Dead Man on Campus," "I Love You, Man" and "Bad Teacher." This year he wrote and starred in the much anticipated film "The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made," which has garnered great success at the box office. Additionally, he will star in the movie "Jeff Who Lives at Home," expected to be released this year, and is currently in pre-production on "The Adventurer’s Handbook."
His television credits include the role of Nick Andopolis in the series "Freaks and Geeks" and a recurring role on "Undeclared."
Additionally, Segel’s voice can be heard in the animated movie "Despicable Me."
He was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he lives. His birth date is Jan. 18.
